Flashing is a very simple thing to do, which of course you would need the device to do so.

Flashing a firmware will only take a few minutes to complete.

Haha..
Maybe they were exploring your phone before they flashed it.
Just kidding..
Anyway, it just takes a few minutes.
If it takes very long time, means that the shop is not efficient.

Smartmovie~! The best video player for S60 phones! It has supported 3250 since ver 3.21.
For anivirus, i think all are same, a Google search will help u a lot.

I dun think Symbian Os 9.1 phones need any anti-virus at this moment.
There is no virus infecting this platform at this moment.
So, there isn't any anti-virus application.
Its security is still strong enough.

There's a small amount of viruses infecting OS9.1
There's also a F-Secure Anti-Virus for OS9.1

Plz visit CalvinStinger Official Website for more info on mobile malwares.
Also, as dragon said, Google is our best friend if u r unsure of anything.

I have a problem here with the Smartmovie converter, i can't choose video codecs other than the default Xvid codec. I have other codecs from K-lite codec but i can't select them (i can select them before this.), they don't appear on the list under the "configure" option. I have tried re-install the converter and the codec but nothing change. Can anyone help me?

Maybe ur video clips are encoded with low bitrate. I suggest u to use Divx codec, it is way better than the default Xvid codec of the Smartmovie converter. And one more thing, dun use high bitrate for the audio, cuz it will cost more processing power and cause lag when u play the movie on ur phone.

i dont blame you...who would wanna watch a laggy avi file? laugh.gif

but imo, smartmovie is by far and wide the best player for s60..
one of the reasons, being that it is incredibly flexible laugh.gif -much like s60!
