Psiloc's applications are often having problem due to LM Pro inside all its applications.
Not advisable to use.
But there are some useful applications too, such as Total IR, zipman, etc.

*#7370# should work.
Maybe the data files (LM Pro) are still in your memory card.
So, try to uninstall all your Psiloc applications and reformat ur phone after this.
If not, take it to the nearest NSC (Nokia Service Centre) to flash (firmware upgrade) it.
If u r under warranty, it is free.

What's this LMPro thing?
LM Pro:
License Manager Pro

Used By many apps as a protection against cracking etc. Many Psiloc (AKA PsiNT) apps use it, as do a variety of others,

Examples:
World Clock Pro
CameraFX
etc. etc.

Uninstalling it will prevent apps that use it from working, they will promt you to start a WAP download or simply not start.

Oh, I have CameraFX, guess I need LM Pro.  Thanks.
Not advisable to use Psiloc's applications.
This LM Pro thingy is the main reason that causes problems.
Anyway, u can still use it.

I give an example:
U are using a computer with Window 98. One day, ur mouse is damaged(Broke, crack, whatever.). Then u upgrade ur computer to Window XP, will ur mouse recover? No, right? Get it?  smile.gif

So as ur phone, go check what's the problem. I think it is either ur keypad has spoiled or the board(The white colour surface with some silver buttons.) is damaged. The later is more serious, means cost more  moneyflies.gif ~
Like what Mgsrulz, calm down. Jimmy cch didn't piss u.  sweat.gif

Huh?!
I didn't really mean that.
Maybe my way of expressing is a bit weird.
Really no hard feelings..

6630 is using Symbian OS 8.
3250 is using Symbian OS 9.
Newer E-series and N-series phones are using Symbian OS 9 too.

6680/6681 use DVRSMMC.

No, it isn't really harmful now.
There is no Virus or Trojan inside it although anti virus in PC may recognize them as virus.
Try to read this:
QUOTE
Mobile Mosquito premium rate SMS "Trojan" not a virus Just a botched copy-protection feature of the original game...

The 'Trojan' SMS dialler infecting mobile phones running pirate copies of the "Mosquitos" game is not actually a Trojan at all but rather a botched copy-protection feature of the original game.

Earlier this week mobile operating system maker Symbian warned that illegal versions of the game contain a Trojan that sends costly SMS text messages to premium rate lines without the owner realising it until the bill arrives.

But, in a startling twist, it has now emerged that the premium rate SMS functionality was put in the game from the beginning by the original manufacturer.

Mikko Hypponen, head of antivirus labs at F-Secure, said there is no "cracked" version of the game because nothing has been added to the code in the illegal game, which is still available on P2P networks.

"There was nothing to crack as there was no copy protection," he said.

The original feature included when the game launched late last year was intended to prevent users buying cheaper versions in different countries, according to Hypponen, who spoke to the game's manufacturer's this week.

If bought in a different region it would send an SMS to one of the premium rate toll numbers which would then allow the game to be unlocked. But after complaints from customers, the feature was removed from the original code earlier this year. The illegal copies merely contain the code with the original SMS dialler feature.

"I think they thought they had a really novel idea but it really backfired," said Hypponen. "I don't think they were trying to be evil, just trying to get the bad guys. It's not like some shady operation."

He said the fact that the SMS messages are not hidden in the phone logs is evidence there was no underhand motive from the game's manufacturers.

The premium rate contracts for the SMS messages have now been terminated, so although old and illegal versions of the game still send the messages, it only costs the nominal fee of sending and SMS and not the premium rate fee.

Regards..

U should be aware of the apps u get.
Unzip the archives and check if there is any suspicious file.
If got, then just delete it straightaway.
And remember, try not to download warez as they may be packed with viruses inside.

That's a good question.
Keep your self updated with the recent virus information here:
http://www.pipx.net/calvinstinger/
It is a great site.
Besides, some viruses are very obvious if you open the file.
They might show special names like SKULLS, etc.
So, before installing, try to chk whether there is any malicious file inside the application or not.

Ya, go C:/systems/data/contacts.cdb.
Paste it in the same location in your new phone.
I saw many ppl had succesful using this method.
Anyway, my suggestion is backup everything again b4 u try it.
And TRY IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Due to what u said above, MAYBE your 'menu' key and your 'right' key have sth wrong.
E.g, can't exit, can't press menu, etc.

Otherwise, did u really exit every app before u start opening another one?
U must EXIT not CLOSE.
If not, your phone will have insufficient memory (RAM) and then when u open/close sth else, it will have to wait and wait.

If not again, then try to consider your memory card speed.
Coz memory card slow, your phone will slow too.

Try to format your mmc 1st. After that press *#7370# to restore the phone to factory condition. If it doesnt work, I think it should be incompatibility with your software version/your mmc  rclxub.gif

Dragon had said he reformatted his phone and even memory card for amny times.
These methods should be tested by him before he post his problem here.

Corrupted MMC fix

Necessary tools:
- Corrupted MMC
- 7tools partition manager
Get 7tools partition manager here.

Part one
1. Put your MMC into your card reader, select the MMC
2.If your partition is corrupted you will see several invalid partions in red in the left hand pane (MMC drive section)
3.Right click each of these and left click delete.
4.Click apply (top left button)
5.You should be left with a single free unit on your MMC drive. Now right click that unit and select create primary partition. Go with the defaults which should be FAT16 and click on apply.

Exit and put your card back into your N-Gage. If you find that the MMC card still does not mount via the USB cable (That is if it was mounting prior to corruption). Unplug the cable and put your MMC card back into your card reader.

Part two
1.Start the 7tools and select the MMC again.
2.In the right hand pain you will see a column that says Active (it will probably be set to "no") click this and set it to yes (That take a few MB of your MMC but it makes it an active bootable drive partition), click apply
3.Put the MMC back into your N-Gage and format it via tools-memory-[options]-format mem card.

You will notice that the card is a couple of MB down on it original size but it will now be fully bootable and functional via the USB cable again.

Keep in mind:
If u formatting MMC card trough windows u could ruin it if you format in any other partition than FAT, no other partitions like NTFS, FAT32, don't work!

Oh, this is a common issue.
Do u have any application which works like task manager?
Try using switcher or appman to kill process.
It is better than pressing the c button.
Maybe your gallery has too much image/music.
Try to divide them into folders.
