What's the difference between formatting your phone using *#7370# and the GREEN + 3 + * ? I know that the 7370 combination wipes C:. What about the other combination?

7370 does merely "Restore factory setting"
Green etc etc is the real formatting.

7370 rewrites your C: with fresh system files, I think it should clear all your viruses. Format the MMC too,to be safe.

Are this flashing service reliable? Any bad experience of this? And i heard that we need special wires to flash our phones. How true is that? Can we actually do it ourselves?
