Yes, as far as I remember, or maybe there was 1 time, but also few years back already LOL
Its still working good for the moment, but i can start feeling my car become quite 'heavy' recently in terms of driving feel, not too sure if its related to which part of the car

The threehold product looks good! have any one of you tried on Saga? thinking to have a try on mine..
Thanks boss! rclxms.gif

On the other hand, I would prefer to have a full car check, and service whenever necessary, don't like to spend for something extra, so I actually worry if the mechanic or shop will simply quote for everything.

Can you please advise what will be a normal charge for car inspection, without changing anything yet? Any advisable shop to do this? TqTq.. biggrin.gif

Hmm....got members using Eric's VS on their FLX CVT also no problem.

Proton has adopted 10k km service interval using semi syn.

10k km for how many months interval? Or should I just service at 5k interval for first few service? blink.gif

I just made a quick check via Google, not too sure if this is correct, seem like car battery can lasts for 3-5 years or even more, so I guess it shouldnt be any surprise for my case.
hahaha, correct me if I'm wrong blink.gif

*milleage is another story, while my milleage is only recorded at approximately 65k in about 4.8 years time biggrin.gif

Last year there was a threebond bulk in this thread where the seller did it for a few Sagas and Personas at bulk price.

As for engine inspection, you'll need to find a trusted workshop, else they tell you this need to change that need to change, in the end you also dunno can believe or not rclxub.gif maybe davidke20 can rekomen you a good place hmm.gif

10k km or every 6 months.

Since their service schedule has been stretched, it is up to you whether you wanna do 5k km interval. If you takut semi syn EO degrade after 5k km, then ask them to use fully syn lor.

my saga sv (6 months old) is giving start problem since 2 months ago. occassionally (about once a week), it will only start after a few cranks. however it will start after a few attempts (probable 5 mins). i took it to the Damansara Jaya (Petronas) last week and the technician reset the ecu. it has been 2 days, there has not been any starting problem. i read somewhere it could be a faulty sensor. anymore here could offer proton solution to the start problem?

Hi all,

My Saga BLM almost approaching 5 years age in few months time (about 65k milleage), have never done any big/major service before.

All the while was just changing engine oil, filter, alignment, balancing, brake fluid (once, around 48k milleage), just change 1 pair of tyre recently after 4 years of usage, the another pair was changed 2 years ago when tyre puncture due to attached with nail in the highway.

Planning to send for a full car check and service. But I don't really know good mechanic and worry if overcharged/ask to change something that unnecessary.
I have few concerns with my car now:
1. Glove box stucked few months back, still couldnt found a way to fix it myself
2. The tinted already shows bubble, will be my next item to change.
3. Never change my car battery before, is it bad to the car?

Any advice guys? Do you think the car need to have a full service check now?
Thanks.

1. U squat down from the outside of the car, bend yourself underneath the passenger foot area, u can reach your hand inside the drawer. Pull out some of the stuff see whether it helps.
2. DaBestOne Remove old tint RM50, got my new anti picah film for all 4 windows RM200
3. No harm. Until 1 day kenot stat, go jump stat/call insurance free road assist.

Car always needed full checked, however bad magician will get your wallet service as always. 5 years period only you touch 65k, its better to change timing belt despite you haven't hit the mileage of 80/100k. Rubber will get old and crack and or may cause slippage. The rest, pretty much harmless. BLM is the bestest cheap local car sofar. If given the same priority of next 15 years production, I believe BLM will surpass Wigra reliability in this cuntry.

Guys,
Earlier on I mentioned that my car had CVT light blinking irregularly during a cold morning. Guess what? I removed Erictioh's VS and the light didn't come on  shocking.gif  Is there anything wrong with the VS? It's about 3 years old.

Also, my car has exceeded 1 month service period but its only at 4k mileage. Should I be servicing it? If service every 3 months seems very short period compared to perodua's.

Must be rosaked ady. If you consider throw it away, please tell me where so I can pick it up. Or I can pay you 10 bucks and pickup frmo you directly if throwing away cause you too much trouble whistling.gif

My only trusted magician is in Dengkil. Don't ask me why, because I stay in Sri Damansara. Use brain think also know, its simply because he's trustworthy. No sohigh will drive 70km to service their car, but I do.

After removing it, did it solve the starting problem?

SC technicians are known to blame anything and everything aftermarket found in your car, regardless whether it is related or not.

David, give me an offer for my erictioh's VS if you're interested. Not used much, spent more time in my storage than in my engine bay.
