Hope it will not suffer the same date as our Savvy AMT. The way the article is written, it's like people in India has never driven any automatic transmission before

QUOTE(qse150 @ Jan 29 2014, 05:00 PM) sry for asking this kinda question again for flx 1.3, which engine oil is more suitable? 5w30 or 10w40? i find that 5w30 ..the engine feels smoother ... but like less power 10w40 like the engine is rougher but more power Should be the other way around Both also can use, 5w30 for lighter engine and lower fuel consumption, 10w40 for better protection but more sluggish performance. Personally, I think the difference won't be huge.

QUOTE(lhwj @ Jan 31 2014, 09:51 AM) From what I saw on the Gaga's retracting mechanism, my guess is that if you see any wire running from the mechanism, it has pre-tensioners. They usually go hand in hand with airbags. Gaga is the mechanical/eletric type or pyrotechnic type? I'm sure I didn't see any pyrotechnic mechanism on the seat belt retractor. Perhaps it's the electric type, though I didn't notice any wires. Too lazy to dismantle the plastics again QUOTE(kenjilew @ Jan 31 2014, 09:54 AM) P42 ? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

QUOTE(TitanRev @ Jan 31 2014, 03:50 PM) There's also the mechanical type per-tensioner. Most cars have them. You can try this, try pulling your seat belt rapidly and it will refuse to extend. Then you need to release it in order for it to re-extend again. That one is inertial locking mechanism ler, not pre-tensioner. The locking mechanism only locks the seatbelt and prevents it from extending, but pre-tensioner will pull and tighten the seatbelt when airbags is deployed

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Feb 2 2014, 07:22 AM) Got abeg anot? If no abeg where got pretensioner. If jiu r toking about when brake time the seat belt will lock, that's not the pretensioner, that's only a retainer/retractor malfunction. http://auto.howstuffworks.com/car-driving-...s/seatbelt3.htmSpeaking of which, I belib older model kar got abeg oso dun got pretensioner NCP42 oldgong la, the one at home......got 2 ebegs wan. I open up the B-pillar cover and don't see any pyrotechnic pre-tensioner mechanism, deswai I ask lor.
