I have this problem with USB play back.
When I start the car it will always go to Radio.
I have to change to it USB playback every time I restart the car.
Any one experienced the same?

Though its not a problem but sometimes it annoys me as I use lots of gravel/dirt road.. anyway got to learn to deal with it 

I do use thumb drive for song occasionally but I stream BT audio from my phone mainly when using Waze so that I get the waze prompts from the car speakers. If  use Radio/CD/USB then there won't be any sound from the waze
BTW, some times I find it difficult to move the shift from P to R when I'm going back after work. Its  like the shift is stuck and I have to forcefully pull it to R. Anyone had this issue?

My FOFO got hit by a motorbike and I need to replace the front bumper.

Brought to workshop and currently negotiating the price. They want RM2000++ for the replacement.

Yes, the buttons on the gear knob are useless. Didn't bother to use the buttons after testing them less than few hours.

The S mode is surely good stuff at low to moderate speed.

It has been quite a while since I last pumped RON 97. Only tried 2 full tanks last year and did not really gauge the fuel consumption of it relative to RON 95.

May I ask which petrol did you pump or usually use? I only pump Caltex for all my vehicles.

Do you guys have rattling sound at the dashboard top speaker cover and also the steering wheel when the car is going through bad-surfaced roads? There is a bit of rattling sound from these areas when my car goes over these roads. I hope they can get rid of these rattling noises.

The rattling sound is not very loud but it is a bit annoying when it comes up. A quiet car only to be spoiled by these minor rattling noises.

The noise is probably from your faulty gearbox/clutch. My car was like that before the service. It rattles at traffic stops too. After the change, it fixes all problems including the low speed grinding sound. I wonder how long will it stay that way before it happens again. Now my power sunroof is jerky the moment it is opening. I think the rubber seals have expanded somehow and misaligned.

Anyone got problem with lock/unlock sensor at the handle? My driver side not working. Both outside n inside 1.. Other doors is ok.. Any fuse connected to sensor?

No 'ding 'ding' sound on my car hitting 5K RPM and above on both 'D' and 'S' mode.

The sound you mentioned is it similar to your seat belt unbuckle sound? Perhaps check if it is your seat belt?

At first I thought the rattling sound comes from the centre speaker cover at the top of the dashboard. But after having the car checked at the service centre, it was found that the rattling sound is actually from somewhere in the air cond and not the centre speaker cover. Now I don't have any rattling sound from the top of dashboard anymore. Just a minor rattling sound from the steering wheel when going over bad rough roads but that sound is negligible and not an issue.

No issues with gear lever. Feels high quality especially the leather on the gear knob. Not sure about the plastic door panel of the sports. The top plastic on the Titanium is textured brownish grey and the bottom plastic is light beige, which is high quality to me. Mine is the Titanium.

The main selling point of the Ford Focus is in the handling and driving dynamics apart from the higher quality interior when compared to Japanese.

Sorry, I didn't go inside the workshop to look at how the guy fixed it. It was mentioned that the sound is coming from the air-cond or something.

For any annoying sound, I would suggest that you just send it in to the service centre to have them resolve it. The Sime Darby PJ branch. If the sound is loud enough, I would think they will find a way to the source of the sound and get rid of it.

How does it happen when the gearbox suddenly broke down? Is there a sound from the gearbox and your car is not accelerating uniformly when it happened? Can you still drive the car to the roadside or maybe few kilometres when the gearbox was giving problems?

All car insurance nowadays provide free car tow service (limited to certain km for the year). Btw, any RED exclamation indicator on your dashboard screen? Or when you navigate to the vehicle check screen any error found/diagnosed?

Hmm.. it's strange as it didn't registered by any of the sensors. I suspect it could either be the Transmission Control Module (TCM) which acts like a brain to up shift or down shift or the actual (mechatronics) electric motor/solenoid actuation which does the shift..
