Hi all, need advice on focus 2013.
Yesterday, infelt my transmission a bit lag. Not enufff power when went back from kb to tanah merah. Then in the  evening, when i went out to shop.  when i shift to D, car was not moving! Change to R still then same. Try to change to S, it seems like the gear is not engage. No S gear.

Today, went to shop, On my way back, my car suddenly 'free gear' in the middle of the road.. Push to pedal and nothing happened. Put to D, press the pedal more than 3000rpm and nothing happ ned. At one time, when i push th pedal when in D or R, rpm can only go up until around 1500rpm maximum.  Turn your off, turn on, change the gear, nothing happen. Then i let the car rest about 10mins. Then start, now the gear engage and i can drive to my house about 1km away. Felt like the engine a bit hotter than usual.

Turn off the car. Then try to turn on, it happen d again. Then.. After a while, . My car dont want to start at all. aircond, radio n others are fine. But car wont start. So cant test if the gear is okay or not right now.  Any idea other than clutch or gear issue?

My car bought dec 2012 now around 95k km. Tomorrow want to sent to ford kota bahru by towing. Appreaciate any advice on this problem. Any estimation time of repair or cost?Thanks

When did you buy your Focus and what is the current mileage of your car? I have not received any letter from Ford yet.

i made a complaint regarding the bad after sale service n poor transmission performance via the official ford website.

2 days later a representative from sime darby auto conexxion called me and explained regarding the issues and need the physical car for any checkup n cannot assist me via phone. he told me later SC will call me

2 hours later service lady from my SC call me and told me
  1. most of the jerking will be settled/reduce once they update the software because so far nobody complaint anything after underwent the software update.
  2. for my next 40k major service, they(SC) just received a memo from sime darby saying that not all the things listed in the service plan pamplet will be replaced. she cant be so sure what the things. but she say sorry because sime darby can change the term without prior notice.
