The dl speed increased slowly 1kb per 1kb until it reached 20kb, then it went down back to 0kb, 1kb per time also.. could it be it's because im on a wireless usb? Well, many people PM'ed me asking how to boost bitcomet download speed.
I will share my settings and if it doesn't work. Please don't blame me. Streamyx 1mbps package good/max download speed is 80~100kBps on Bitcomet ( Based on my experience ). After my settings, I get something like this :- ![]() How? I'll show you what I did ... :- First of all. You need to disable Windows XP SP2 TCP Limit or set it to 50 ( Default is 10 ). Go google for the program. It's everywhere. Patch it at your own risk. It is better to backup the file before proceeding. After done with that patch. Go to control panel > Security > Windows Firewall > Exceptions. Click on the " Add Port " button then a window will appear. Put whatever name you want. The Port number must be the same like the one shown in Bitcomet's Listen Port. Make one for TCP and one for UDP. Open up bitcomet and do some settings. All already explained in the front page of this thread but i'll show my settings. ![]() Ok, try and start your download. Just wanna check on the speed you're getting. IF you don't have any file to download. Simply go and find one with green health / many seeders. If the speed is OK then you're done here. IF it doesn't then continue to next step. Go to your modem setting. Open explorer and simply type 192.168.1.1 Key in the username and password. Go to services. Enable the NAT. Click Submit. Then use NAT Rule Entry. Click ADD. It will show something like this :- ![]() Once again the port number must be the same like what is shown in the Bitcomet's Listen Port. In the Protocol drop down menu. Pick TCP now and make another one for UDP with the same setting. Click Submit. Then go to IP Filter. Set your security level to low. Other settings just put " Accept ". Submit again. Go to Admin tab > Commit & Reboot. Press Commit. Then press Reboot. Disconnect. Reconnect. Try your download again. You should get good speed now. IF not getting good speed ( with many seeders ). Try :- 1. Stop the download and start again 2. Disconnect and reconnect again 3. Check your 3rd party antivirus / firewall program 4. Disable any worm protection |

I will try to update it later btw, the TCP limit didn't need to use other software to change it... it can be done by BitComet I suggest you to make the Use NAT Traversal via UDP as "Disable" if you didn't use routing mode to connect and the last stage you want other people to do... is actually what we say "port forward", no need to do it if connect by bridging mode...... For this one "IF not getting good speed ( with many seeders ).
