v0.77 quite stable 2 me..
no single prob so far..

different pc hav different response to the new version

I also will wait for more feedback from other ppl, but I think now it should b more stable compare to ver 0.72, 73, what I need is just those functions in 0.70

here is some feedback from me
i was using version 0.70 and directly install 0.77 and came to the conclusion that this version is stable for me as download rate is constant according to the torrent ratio

The only thing i was frustrated is their scheduler is not working properly whereby i set a specific of time to halt all download then when the time to start the download again it just didn't start

how about 0.77? did the same problem happen?

i think this happen bcos ur task was stopped when you last closed the bitcomet

sorry for being noob here...just started to use bitcomet only...my downloading speed aint fast enuff...max i can get around 59kbps only...some ppl can even reach 100kbps ++...how aR?

does the bitcomet speed rely on version?or does the number of simultaneous downloads affect all the torrents speed?

i put 20 max and currently 11 but not all are running...

is fast right?i using bitcomet 0.77(max2) but after around 1 hour my modem will reconnect.Anyone know how to solve this problem??
before this i use Utorrent without this problem.thanks a lot.

I am using Bitcomet v070, my connection speed never over 10kbs even after i do port forwarding, increaase half open TCP. zzzzz

logically 512kbps can achieve 64kb/s max n 1mbps can achieve 128kb/s max
btw 59kb/s can consider as fast dy lo.. still complain here?

kbps = kilo bit per second while kb/s = kilo byte per second.. both r different..
(8 bit = 1 byte)
actually byte should b written as "B" while bit is "b"

For my case i downgrade back to version 0.70
Version 0.77 and 0.78 really causing too much hassle and the download speed just can't be as good when i use version 0.70...
I seriously getting fed up with Bitcomet and may change to another bittorrent client if they next few release claimed to have so called improvement...

my upload speed seems to be faster than my download ..can anyone tell me how to fix this problem ?last time i got no problem at all ..recently , reformatted my comp n n reinstalled bitcomet ..i forgot the settings ..pls help me ..

like download : 35 kbps upload 40 kbps ..

The speed that you see are actually from a LOCAL NETWORK

Basically i was playing around with BitComet as i got a desktop and a laptop which both has the same torrent.
Desktop i have a 17% completed on desktop and laptop i had a 27% completed and there is only a single file in the torrent download

What i'm doing here is that i don't want to restart my download and to choose either one to start so i set my laptop to seed the 27% completed torrent and my desktop run as normal where both laptop and desktop are under the same network. The connection was under wireless so i waited for 20 second and hoping it will work and here was the result.



Seriously i know its not my actual download speed but its cool to see the number this big when downloading and maybe one day i might try doing this under wired network

AS AGAIN THIS IS STRICTLY JUST FOR FUN as i wanted to share what i was doing yesterday

i hav some problem with bitcomet. everytime when i open bitcomet 2 download things...it always clogs my internet connection. i cant browse internet. wat is the problem here?

If anyone experience slow internet browsing when using bitcomet, but the line didnt have any problem
then you may try these step
1.) Limit your download speed OR upload speed OR both
if this cant help....
2.) Reduce the value of "Max simultaneous half-open TCP connections"
set the value to any value that lower than 10, personally suggest 8...
if the value is "Auto", then make it to 8
IF, still cant help
Last, and is also the Best solution
3.) Disable the "DHT Network"

I think i better make things clear....

First in the morning i was downloading torrent X with 0% on my desktop
Then i left out for class with my laptop while leaving the download continue
In the evening after class around Subang Area i was using TM Hotspot to online using my laptop and download the same torrent X again with 0% startup

So basically i'm downloading the same file again but in two different place. Once i reach home i on both my Bitcomet and set the torrent X in my laptop to upload even its not completed

Since both torrent are the same but the downloaded area are different and they are in the same network so the uploading speed are local which go through the router and that is how i got that download speed
