Well, its strange when i come back to my hometown, i can connect to remote peers without any problem at all.Download speed is great at about 58kbps on a 512MB line. But down in KL, its impossible to get remote peers no matter what you do.Download rate is at a mere 5kbps on a 1MB line...

I just download 0.82 version, WHY I use bit comet 0.82 , download speed is 0kbps, and upload is 0kbps. But if i choose to use 0.68, its speed at least can move.

hi all.
i jus reformatted my com and i downloaded bitcomet 0.82. haven been using bt for some time, but it used to b working. rite now, i cant seems to get it working. it cant seems to b able to connect to ANYTHING at all. ive tried several torrent files, and its showing the same thing. then ive tried utorrent as well. nothing seems to work. in utorrent, ive seen some port forwarding thing. i did that, and still i cant seems to get it to work. what seems to b the problem? any1 can shed me some lights?

Anyway, can't connect 2anything maybe few reason. 1st, TMNET temporary block bt from 100% working..I got some file working, some nope, depend on time also. 2nd, Maybe v0.82 not stable (correct me if i'm wrong)

yes it can still resume.. like i did b4.. u just need to copy the whole bitcomet program folder to a usb or whatever.. afer finish format the pc..u just paste it back bitcomet anywhere u want..simple this needs 2 be done b4 the format..
or u can just.. open torrent file for ur incompleted download file.. rite click on that file --->stop----> manual hash check...(it'll check the % of the file). after finish u can resume the download..

U need to backup ur bitcomet downloading file in the C:\bitcomet\download\"Your 5 GB file".. and also the torrent file for this file...
After you format ur pc, put this "Your 5 GB file" back to C:\bitcomet\download\ Then open the torrent file and make sure the download path C:\bitcomet\download\ It will automatically detect the file and start downloading from 90%....

try click back the torrent extension files name, select back the location where u put the file, set back all the original setting... example u set ur file at D drive, so link it back at D drive on which selected folder on~~ but the software i use was Utorrent, haha give it a try lah...

hmmm.....it should be the bitcommet folder in Local Setting/Application Data/BitComet if i'm not mistaken. The folder contains all the torrent file you have downloaded and a catalog file of what torrent is active and another file if i'm not mistaken for resume transfer.
Or maybe you can just install new bitcomet & download back the torrent file and select the same dir where u put your downloaded file and force check it.
