Good stuff bro, nice to read stuff from fish crazy people. Are Bleheri aggressive in general?

Im having Channa Assam. All dwarf snakeheads are territorial, even with themselves sometimes. So best if u keep only their kind in one tank. And with lotsa hiding places.

Those are the blue ones? Sorry not too familiar with the Channa genus. How do they look from the top? Pretty? I'm considering adding a new species to my small pond (only about 4000 litres) and am considering a dwarf snakehead. Its heavily planted with water lilies (about 40% coverage), water hyacinths, money plant, pergola. I'm worried of territorial issues with my high back aro and giant gourami. Everything else in there is small (denison barbs, 70 rosy barbs, guppies + prawns).

All smaller fish except for my Denison barbs (3-4 inch) are expendable. What do you think? Viable?

those are gonna be food.
btw, how high is the pond wall? and is the water level is the same as the pond height?
channas are quite a jumper.
*EDIT - i dont worry about denisons since they are fast, but maybe you will lose one or two, if the channa loves to catch them.

Aiseh.....if jumper then i think cannot. Water level is about 3-4 inches from the top. Also....i quite sayang my denison barbs, i don't mind if it whacks the rest, guppies are thriving in my pond and i don't want them. Strangely, my 14 inch high back ignores all smaller fish.

Pengenalan Kepada Ikan Terlarang Di Bawa Masuk / Import Ke Malaysia

user posted image

PERATURAN-PERATURAN PERIKANAN (LARANGAN IMPORT,

- Serrasalmus/Serrasalmo/Pygocentrus/Catoprian

- Pygopristis

- Colosomma/Piaractus

- Mylossoma

- Mylopus/Myleus

- Pristobrycon

- Myletes

DONT Allow import but if buy from Fishshop, may not be imported right? some may be bred here ?
Or should they state, banned from keeping these fishes ? this is more effective at saving our ecosystem? Weird indeed.
I currently own 2-3 species of the banned ones..

Anyone know where to get araipaima Gigas small ones cheap? haha

It endagers if u release it into the wild. Like most fishkeepers do, when it gets too big, they just release it into rivers and lakes. Just be responsible. Keep the fish until it dies of old age. If u cant afford to keep one, then dont.

In Sg buloh selling for RM200. Haha
