QUOTE(aimank_88 @ Feb 3 2014, 08:11 PM) Me me! Thanks, mate! Recommended at least 6 ft. Lol. But Im starting with a 4ft tank then once it gets bigger then I'll change to a bigger tank. Can save some $$$ in the meanwhile. Any good source to get care tips for gars? Tried searching online but no comprehensive care sheet for gars. |

Do you think keeping a gar in a 200 gal tank with a large school of neon tetra would work??

QUOTE(LuQEE @ Feb 4 2014, 06:09 PM) i dont mean it as a subtitute for food, yup as a visual purpose.. just neon is a bit to pricey if they ended up being food for your gar. Yessir! I just thought it would look very cool to see a huge giant fish swimming among a school of tiny fish.I like to use malayan rasboras for my oscar, one is because they like to school which is a pretty sight, second is they are cheap and can be replaced if a few of them are missing in the next few days. but it is all up to the owner him or herself. QUOTE(aimank_88 @ Feb 4 2014, 07:18 PM) I'm not exactly sure - but based on seeing online, I suspect 200gal is more like 7-8 feet. |

Guys, I'm conducting a survey - commonly we buy fish from fish shop but would you think it's convenient if there was a way to get high quality fish, same as market rate (or maybe lower), and hand delivered to your house (if within Klang Valley)?
What about aquariums and fish supplies? Do share your thoughts! |
