I'm tempted to try diztronic too since so many good reviews of it.

Go for black! Most logical choice since anyhow you are going to cover it with a casing which itself mostly black.
White is nice as well coz the whole body is white, front to back. |

QUOTE(droidtrix @ Mar 20 2014, 10:14 AM) For those with the Code :AMALBK, no update as this code not belong to Malaysia as Malaysia LG code would be MYS . True. Those with 10b might not get update in the nearest future. If not, we should've received it by now. Kindly refer to this http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=36 Few frens of mine has these code :AMALBK no update at all since they brought since 3 months ago. Even one of them flashed manually the Malaysia KDZ file (D80210d-MYS-XX), did not got any update as it shows "The device software has latest software" when he runs OTA. This was yesterday night when i met him. I did the kdz flashing to KK just now, oh boy,it's flying! The flashing process also is easy as a pie. I'd recommend using the offline method. |

QUOTE(dotjolt @ Mar 20 2014, 12:49 PM) I think mine was the HKG version like you said, which actually prompted me to update via OTA. However, as my phone was rooted and me being a learning-in-progress chap, I attempted to re-root but using a MY KDZ I downloaded - which I thought was ok. I'm now unable to receive the OTA anymore hence i'm stuck with 4.2.2. I use D80220a,it's the one for HK rom. Make sure to check when you download, whether it's a 16gb or 32gb one.Bro, I'm going to attempt flashing my phone again but this time using a Kit Kat KDZ, which KDZ exactly are you using? From what I see from the site only have Austria, Italy, Spain and France wor Here's the link for 32gb HK rom. http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.d.../D80220A_00.kdz I use this exact one right now & it's very impressive! QUOTE(aimanace94 @ Mar 20 2014, 05:51 PM) So far...my KK pros and cons : About the fatter widgets & icons, can't notice it much though. Loke the way it is now in KK. PROS : 1. Less lag , faster phone CONS : 1. Fatter physical folder size , icons are further apart 2. Can't check-in into foursqure without enable GPS (Location) , which is I personally think its WORSE (one time my phone thinks im at indonesia which my phone never went to , most of the time my phone dont know where I am at all) than using wifi only during JB . 3. Same as number 2 , I now have to enable GPS ALL THE TIME for the sake of finding my phone if I lost it using prey , antivirus etc 4. THE LOUD STATIC NOISE ! when plugging earphone , this seriously f-up my phone . 5. Much much fatter widget ? cmon ! ugly gila 6. is it me or the battery life is noticeably worse than during JB ? already did a factory reset , but after that it still remains KK . i am dissapointed Haven't tried the earphone as i don't listen to music on the phone so no prob there for me as too. To return back to JB, you have to flash 4.2.2 kdz. Reset only cleans the internal storage. |

QUOTE(ahpingko @ Mar 20 2014, 04:39 PM) Nope, it's JB. KK ends with 20a. For flashing, you can follow this method.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2625044 For the rom, you can download from here http://csmgdl.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.d.../D80220A_00.kdz |

QUOTE(leperkorn @ Mar 20 2014, 08:04 PM) the step provided by bro rai_fuzz is not going to lose your data. its just like u are doing the OTA. dont worry. Yup. I was lucky I guess coz I never backup anything after starting,hehe..But.....to be on the safe side, always backup your data...peace.... so the KK doesnt have significant changes, notice there are printing setting there. other that, not much. battery wise, it seems to me just like when im running on JB... but yes i notice the wording seems to be bigger a bit...but im ok with that... Seriously nice upgrade, much much needed one. |

QUOTE(mansooriqbal @ Mar 20 2014, 08:55 PM) any other link to download? as I am overseas. The download is SUPER SUPER SUPER slow with this link. Probably routing issues. That's from LG server so maybe it can be slow. Try this onehttp://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=36 |

QUOTE(KoYuKii @ Mar 21 2014, 10:25 AM) this morning my G2 battery was totally flat. so i recharge when i reach office and i found out that my time was reset to default time/factory time. is it something wrong with my hardware, or battery?or it is normal? coz this scenario like unplug then plug back the battery. That is weird. Never had it before. Are you on stock rom or custom rom? If on stock, are you on JB or KK? |

QUOTE(helo @ Mar 22 2014, 09:55 AM) can someone try to browse wikipedia after kk uodate with the default "internet" browser, i super dont like the font... =( I think that's the LG default font SmartGothic. Maybe the default browser can't read other fonts? Only the url bar shows selected font. Why not use other faster browsers like Dolphin or Chrome? |
