U should be having LTE option ya in D80220A-MYS-XX

download this and es file explorer..
in the system folder, edit build.prop using the app and edit ro.build.target_country and change the COM to MAL.

Then try to change the preferred network mode.

just saw the G3 leaked photo.

I tried. It asks me to reboot through app and it doesnt reboot and that thing goes back to COM. Hmm..
I am thinking maybe it is because I am over seas and thr is no 4G here... thats why?

let me show you a trick


1) first of all - get your phone's IMEI - put in *#06# on your keypad or check the label on the phone back cover. it should look something like 3567985XXXXXXX

2) copy this link : http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/cli...XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

3) paste the link in your browser address bar - dont hit enter just yet...

4) change XXXXXXXXXXXX to your IMEI number first, then hit enter.

5) Profit

EDIT: Nvm, found out that G2 does not support for this kind of installation method.

Anybody knows how to install custom recovery? I tried installing TWRP and Philz Touch via Flashify, both ends up with boot error every time I want to access it. What should I do? Yes my G2 is rooted.

It doesnt work with stock rom ... few of my friends already try it and it will come back to COM value in ro.build.target_country.

But no problem to do it with any custom rom like Cloudyfa roms.
