Try to re-enable it. I've read that disabling fast dormancy do cause data connection problem to some.

G2's speaker is on the soft side. I've missed a few calls & notifications in noisy environment coz of this. But the vibration is quite good actually. So, when I'm out, I'll turn into vibrate mode.

If i do root the phone, i will definitely try the sound mods 1st.

True for me as well. I do feel the Wolfson chipset in Samsung phones gives better audio output. Could be the earphone, those pairs are pretty good for me.

Just got the IMAK clear case. Awesome case! Next to holding the phone naked. Slim form factor contributes to this.

I'm using this case right now & can testify that the phone feels like when you hold it naked. The casing is glossy type hence not much of a grip available for slippery hands. It's very slim though, you won't regret buying it!

It might or might not come at all. Possible that LG skips 'global' roll-out & update us with the latest in due time, with KnockCode and other niceties on tow.

But seriously, it is a good underrated phone. If you are coming from Samsung or other Android phone, then there's a learning curve. It's an addictive phone as well. The power button is at the back & you'll get used to tapping the screen constantly.

HK 10b rom is still not updated yet. Other version have got it though. Even SEA version got it already (some guy at XDA refer to it as "Malaysia rom")

Let's see for the next few days, hopefully it will arrive. The kdz file is 1.5gb whereas OTA will only set you back 500mb or so.

Closest is PureGear Clear Case. It's similar to hybrid case but not sure if there's place to fit diy pics.

Guys, heads up for those with 10b HK rom. We are somehow left out of the OTA. Those with 10d HK rom seems to be the ones receiving the update. Best way is to flash kdz if you can't wait for the official OTA.

Reason why kdz files are big coz it's the full file i.e the whole android package

Meanwhile the update is just a 'top up' of the necessary files that has changed/added to make KK.
