From my experience, maybe you are overdo. Dont go straight to high level. Try to do 10xburpess,10xjumping jacks,10x body weight squat,10x crunches - 3/4sets. Once you master ( means can deal with the intensity and proper breathing) you can increase the reps.

But the sore muscle is not a bad thing after all. Even me ( after several attempts) also has lil bit sore. It will recover in a day.

Freeletics is suitable for beginner ! Just dont go too intense.

yeah probably i overdo it.. i straight do 50 squat in a single try.. i do that on monday night and still i can feel pain on my thigh muscle now..

Juz to let you know this freeletics is not for beginner, obese and a person who abandon fitness long time ago. But it doesnt mean you shouldn't do it.

Try to perform a part of it 1st then slowly build up to full session. For example for Aphrodite try to perform 50rep of burpee in a day then move on to 1 round next day or next workout session for you then move on to 2 round and so on....

Thats how you do freeletics. You should start bit by bit but never stop doing it. It's a lifestyle.

BTW I'm on week one and im doing bit by bit for Aphrodite and im proud of it. BAM!!!

Hi i've been doing freeletics since jan this year and had continue ever since...muscle sore is common and what we're looking for...my advise here, you may want to target on completing the workout of each session regardless of the PB time...this way you will train your body to adapt the workout and later on pacing your self to beat your own PB...i've also strugling in the beginning and yet my goal changed once i was able to catch up my stamina...feel free to follow me in freeletics apps @azrirajamohammad and we shall compete our PB there...
happy workout guys

As much as i want to complete each session regardless of PB time, i couldn't do it bcoz of my BMI and the Stamina. I am 183cm/124kg. As u can see im a big guy with a less blood pumping capacity. And there is principal i have adopted to improve it. if i fail to complete full sessions of the week, i will do it again next correspond week until i able to complete it then i will move on 2nd week of sessions available.

last few days i do venus routine (50 push up, 25 jackknife, 50 squat x 4 rounds)
but i manage to do 1 round only.. after that i go watching tv..
after like 30 minutes watching tv my thigh got sore muscle and i cant even get up from chair.. i need to push the chair using my hand to get up..
unfortunately my shoulder and my arm muscle too get sore but not as bad as my thigh..    need 2 days until my thigh get better.. i think this freeletics is not suitable for beginner.. even i do 25% of real routine i also get bad sore muscle.. i think i gonna do like 10% of the exercise until i can do the normal one.

I installed this last time and tried promoteus. Not bad. Maybe can use this when I don't have access to gym (balik kampung or vacation).

Hey peeps, 'dedicated' Freeletics user here smile.gif
Long story short, it's currently my main workout programme, apart from my usual sports, run and what not.
It has been about 6+ months since I started using the coach.

In a nutshell:
I like it, because I've definitely became more fit. Judging from sports performance, increased endurance for some exercises burpees, push-ups etc.
Also, it's mostly bodyweight, so you just need a decent (apart from running and pull-up which needs an equipment/somewhere to do it). Being an office worker with late working hours, it's perfect for me. I usually need only about 30-40 mins for a workout (unless it's a single Metis) so it won't take up too much of my time.

Can drop me any questions here (and tag me) if you would like to know more, for the benefit of others as well smile.gif

Yes I believe you need internet connection for the Coach to work properly. At least for uploading your training.

Freeletics needs a spotter and not for beginners. But I took it as a challenge and tried out Aphrodite and mix and match with running, squats with light weights and so on. Form is critical as you may easily injure yourself in the long run. I often ask my regular chinese doc to spot me as I show him the moves, to correct me.

Started with 10 burpees, 59 squats coz I have been doing squats for long. Burpees almost killed me. So that's like 4 - 5 months ago. Am now doing 22 burpees and still not going to 50 yet. Squats 50. Push ups 20 x 3. Trying not to overdo it as over training will kill the regime.

Overall, I think burpees alone increases my stamina, endurance and focus. Am afraid I won't be doing jack knives and routines that may pit too much pressure on my bad lower back. I say give it a go, as it really does make a difference! Currently am practicing deep squats, which is something I can't imagine myself being able to do before this.
