i would like to say that we will facing different style of attacking.... so the defend has to accommodate what is coming and play at their best....

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Jan 13 2014, 02:32 AM) If it's a loanee, I dont mind. But to invest in a FB meaning that GJ is given no chance at all. Means selling him end of the season. That would be too harsh la. yeahhh, me too..but the problem is, he's got one hell of a longgggg bad patches...against better teams, he'll get found out..for the first time i think cissokho had a better game than GJ last niteI hope GJ will come back strongly. Everyone have a bad patch before. |

Horrible defending from both teams last night. And epic goalkeeping mistakes. As usual, Johnson was horrible. Sloppy, wasteful and lazy. Didn't deserve to be in the first XI. Why he stayed for the entire game is beyond me. Kelly should have been given a chance. Cissokho, better, but still not a Liverpool starting XI quality. BR needs to invest on a fullback this January.
Our strikeforce made up for our sloppiness on the back. BR got it absolutely right by bringing in ST15. Sterling wasn't that good last night but he made up for it. |

Btw some stats I read, not sure true or not:
1-This is first win at Britannia since 1984 2-Stoke only concede 7 goals before this match 3-The like of City and Chelsea failed to get 3 points at Britannia |

BR needs to invest on a fullback this January. Not only Johnson, the whole defence was in shambles. BR needs to spend more time working on his defence during training as this problem has been evident for quite a while. When Liv were 2-0 up, they should have sealed the game at that point!!!! Totally pissed at our defense, allowing Stoke City came back from 2 goals down. Even Suarez was shaking his head in disbelief at half time. Our strikeforce made up for our sloppiness on the back. BR got it absolutely right by bringing in ST15. Sterling wasn't that good last night but he made up for it. Again, his attacking prowess alone saved the day for us. As for Sterling, Let's be honest, that penalty call was too harsh. There was a small nudge from the defender, and Sterling made a meal out of it. Poor poor effort from Sterling, he was slow to pick his passes when he got the ball and chose to go down that way. I agree that the Sturridge substitution really made the difference. Coutinho was struggling yesterday and bottled a few goalmouth chances. But hey 3 points is 3 points. Arsenal should drop points tonight against Villa if the bookie law holds true. |

QUOTE(shamsul_LP @ Jan 13 2014, 07:44 AM) Actually we play really beautiful football when gerrard out injured. Now, we have to slow the tempo of play because he take the midfield role and stay deep at the front of cb. Gerrard doesnt intercept the pass like lucas did or do macherano tackle. His strength is passing and make run and an attempt to opponent goal. What is the use of gerrard when he can't do his job.. Miss some pass that make opponent able to score?btw, his key is from set pieces deliveries now. Suarez has score a few from his resulting free kick.. true. without SG our play more smooth. ah well, its kinda hard to teach an old dog a new trick doesnt it? btw, whats up with SG power header to our own goal yesterday? lucky mignolet parry the ball |
