Our strikeforce made up for our sloppiness on the back. BR got it absolutely right by bringing in ST15. Sterling wasn't that good last night but he made up for it.

Horrible defending from both teams last night. And epic goalkeeping mistakes. As usual, Johnson was horrible. Sloppy, wasteful and lazy. Didn't deserve to be in the first XI. Why he stayed for the entire game is beyond me. Kelly should have been given a chance. Cissokho, better, but still not a Liverpool starting XI quality. BR needs to invest on a fullback this January.

QUOTE(solstice818 @ Jan 15 2014, 02:33 AM) http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/footb..._medium=twitter That's why he needs and wants CL football. If we can't get it this season, time to say goodbye. Out of 3 captains we have in squad, only Agger didn't vote for Suarez...Then again we all know Suarez has no chance at all of winning.... Rodgers really need to speed up with the transfers. Don't hold back on the money FSG! If we want to remain in CL spot, we need to invest on quality players. This post has been edited by bitebug: Jan 15 2014, 05:19 AM |

If BR doesn't drop Gerrard or Coutinho for Lucas, then we're truly farked.
And why the fark Kelly is still on the bench? |

QUOTE(farisq @ Jan 19 2014, 02:27 AM) First goal conceded: Kolo against pacey Agbon = Suicidal I blame Johnson for the 1st goal. Lazy, sloppy, predictable and wasteful. Why he's still starting I have no idea. Give Kelly a chance FFS.They played rough and they have good target man. We didn't match them until in 3oth min. I observed Hendo started to rough up a bit and match their physicality. Gerrard struggle in his new role. We have shitty backup in Ally. Henry please take note and take out the cheque book. Sterling also not having his normal influence. So that's both flank not contributing. No wonder Strurridge have to drop deep... Coutinho, thank you for not trying to shoot in build up of our goal. |

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Jan 19 2014, 02:30 AM) I dont understand how Lucas will change things? Is he a fast player? Nil. And I don't understand how Gerrard sticking is gonna change things? Is he a fast player? Nil.Is he good in the Air? Nil. We are losing 2nd ball and on air and pace on the counter attack. BR will sort it out. I trust him. Let's keep the faith. Aston Villa cant hustle us for the whole 90 mins unless they took Steroids. Good in the air? Nil. |

QUOTE(shamsul_LP @ Jan 19 2014, 03:26 AM) No what I meant was that we kept going forward from the left wing when Cissokho is an utter garbage. Our midfield was totally invisible throughout the game. If Henry doesn't spend, then we're screwed. Squad is riddled with injuries and deadwoods |

QUOTE(dillonyong @ Jan 19 2014, 03:36 AM) As usual, all the deals are locked in negotiations due to agent's fees. Wherever you put Johnson, the result will be the same. He's just not Liverpool XI material anymore. Sell him and buy any decent RB, and he will still be better than Johnson. But at the moment, he's focusing on attacking players more than defensive ones. So I dont know man. Can Carra come back? We experimented Johnson on the left and Kelly on the right. Maybe Johnson will play better there linking up with Suarez? I agree with more attacking players. Attack is the best defence. Just look at City. However if our RB and LB are total clowns, then the results will still be the same. |

QUOTE(Mikeshashimi @ Jan 19 2014, 03:47 AM) Rubbish performance. Very frustrating. Outplayed at home in from of Linda! +1Cissokho is so rubbish.. no idea what hes doing. Passing was shit. Everyones passingwas shit. Sterling is pacey... but stupid as a rock. He cant decide whether to pass or shoot or fluff a chance. The only person at the back id trust is Skrtel. Toure looked out of sorts. Johnson need to go out - the exit, permanently. I felt Only Hendo did okay. Others were shitty. No supply for the boys up front. Could have easily lost. Consistency - our biggest enemy Next game against Everton's Baines and Coleman, we are gonna be fried chicken. |

What's with all the whining? We had more than enough time to seal the deal. The management team knows we are short on players they still do business like a bunch of idiots.

QUOTE(skeleton202 @ Jan 25 2014, 01:14 AM) because our low balling strategy is too much til we are considered cheapstake... I think it was mostly because of our deals under KK with, specifically with Caroll and Downing. player like salah who plays in europe match, good stat record, decent ability, 21 y/o some more can easily rate at 12m in nowadas football.. and we are starting the bid from 7m? it's too stupid to begin a deal with us.. basel are not that dumb Also we spent almost £50million in the last transfer window. With the likes of Aspas, Borini and Assaidi failed to make decent impressions and with Iiori and Alberto barely getting any game time, I think they are getting more But still, if we want to make it to champions league this season, there's really no other choice but to spend. So if Konoplyanka joins, Sterling will probably be dropped with DST15 on the right and LS7 going mid, though I expect them to rotate from time to time on the field.
Another LB perhaps? |

Classic Mourinho. Just earlier he told everyone he will support City to win at WHL. Never a dull moment.
