our J spec have this option to install aftermarket HU since the given bracket is a 2-din 20cm width design.

I would rather suggest you to take the one available in Prius in which the model is a an OEM from Pioneer, and its a 8xxx series model.

Definitely correct! But if possible go for 205/50/16..
Wider tyre give u better handling n grip..
Higher fuel consumption as tyre getting wider??
I can tell u,there wont be much different between 195/205 smile.gif
*
agree with you.

last time my Focus was on 215/45/17... changed rim to 205/50/16.... the 16' size makan more oil due to the heavy stock rim that was designed for a TDCi engine. The previous stock 17' rims that was on a 1.8L NA engine feels much lighter.

Conclusion is, the rims weight would be the culprit when it comes to myth of "change bigger/wider rims+tyres would caused higher FC".

change bushes and stabilizer bar.. i think not lower arm... stabilizer bar same as lower arm?

Stabilizer and lower arm bar is 2 different compartment.

hope it solves the problem.

In my last complaint, they advised not to touch anything until further notice from HQ.

No feed back at all? sad.gif no one use new car? sad.gif

I just finish my 2nd time full tank...
this time never use neutral gear trick thingy, just drive normally...

RM69.85 for 341.6km

which is around RM0.2044xxx per km.... 20sen+ per km...

which is close to what i used with my 20 years old toyota corolla SEG that i just sold out for this... sad.gif

cry.gif  cry.gif  cry.gif  what's the point for me to sold off old car and buy a new car that give me similar fuel consumption while i still need to pay for the loan???  cry.gif  cry.gif  cry.gif
*
this is my current record for the past fuelUps. But i only started recording it at ODO 3583km.

On average, i get around 12.6km/Litre. that is equivalent to RM0.167 per KM.

do let it run first for few more Ks first before making any judgement. Do take note that it also depends on your daily traffic condition. Mine is like 30% Heavy Traffic, 70% smooth.

Hope this help.

i would suggest you to send it to local accessorries shop. the labour cost around RM20-30 only.

QUOTE(DeeteeCG @ Feb 19 2014, 03:24 PM)
Thanks for the reply bro.

Actually i saw several complains in toyota facebook fanpage too. but i dont see much inside lowyat. so im really wondering, am i the unlucky minority? sad.gif
My daily traffic is probably around 5-10% jam only... i don work far from home, 15min drive can reach... while weekend i always go out at 2-3pm which is traffic smooth moving period.
btw bro...
when you drive your car, how do you feel with the engine?
my personal experience is that, it is not so strong enough.
averagely it need 2rpm to go next gear most of the time...  even for 1st gear go to 2nd gear, sometimes it need close to 2.5rpm only switch to 2nd gear. and that is normal driving... (eco light on)
in the situation that u just came out from your taman and u need to shift your car from 1 lane to another. the lane you need to enter has carss that moving. u need to slip in quickly due to the traffic. in that situation, i can hear the vroom sound seems draggy, and it reached 3rpm just for the gear 1 to enter gear2 in that situation... which i felt so hurt for the fuel and engine... (eco light off) and even with that, i don feel the car accelerate fast enough at all also...
isit common?

btw... what is the apps name you using here? can intro me?
I did some research and some said it will slowly become better as what u said too....
but somehow i still feel quite worry and emo when thinking of it. it made me felt i did the wrong choice to sell my SEG for this. sad.gif cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

this app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...r.fuellog&hl=en

The car is light in the sense of response, but it howls like a bull upon heavy foot. Its normal since the car have pathetic sound insulation.

Currently your on 3rd tank only; why worry so much. Worst case scenario is get the ECU reset so that the car learn you driving behaviour again.

Btw, I'm also facing issue with this Vios:
1. Knocking sound from behind the steering wheel upon uneven road or speed bump crossing. Its really terrible
2. Annoying"Freeplay" mechanism on the brake pedal --> "tak" sound upon pedal release
3. Latest is some loose part on my rear driver side door panel... Suspect some clips or screw is inside the door panel... Even the window glass is rattling upon uneven road... really speechless.

For case 1 and 2 above, its a common issue for this latest Toyota. For you, do take not on this. Toyota SC had acknowledged this issue... Still pending solution from them...

Hope my feedback helps.

It is worth it to buy vios j instead of alza advance? Fyi vios j auto cost 77k.. Alza advance 64k.. Which one is the best decision?
*
If I'm you, I'll get Alza Advanced.

The driving dynamics and build quality is not much different. As for accessories, J is pathetic. What for you pay more to get less.

Do avoid Vios unless you like the new Bold styling design.

If I could reverse time, I'll definitely skip Vios.

Are you saying the new vios of you is no better than alza? That bad huh? What about proton? Would you say you will ditch vios for Preve?
*
In terms of cabin comfort, the Vios J is really bad. even when compared to Alza. Of course, this is an honest and personal opinion. I myself is driving one Vios J. My advise is do take a look at the car(Vios); take it out for a spin and make your decision later before getting one.

I've test drive SuprimaS before(Preve Hatch); ride quality is good but we all know the stories.

In the end of the day, everyone have their own expectation from a car, based on the given priceTag.

Bro I'm not sure but install and tested on the last batch vios odd connecter. . It works...

My understanding previous gen and new vios use same engine and ecu system should be the same even most of the sensors is the same.

If you worry I can borrow for you to test out.
*
its via OBD??

i did check with another seller on this kind of device, he said the latest Vios OBD head is different hence need to wait.

Yes via ODB2 connection, don't get con small car like vios manufacturer will not change the connector ODB2 is a universal connection for OE maker. Even Mercedes also use same connector.

hm... you got your point.
