Any idea of its price range if we get one from the shops outside? By the way, when the new car arrives, what's the average mileage on the car?

So it means that it's possible for the odometer reading to be more than 50?

@denzel, he's talking about the protector close to the right edge of the picture. The protector is supposed to cover the whole length of the door side so to prevent dust accumulation

What did you all say to the SC in order to get the roof insulation installed? Just walk into the SC and tell them "Eh, my roof noisy, fix it"? Hahaha. Seems like every one got their roof insulated.

Ah, sounds easy enough. Can we set appointment on weekends? Weekdays not free.

Is there any difference after disabling the eco mode? Better pickup?

It'll be quite a hassle if I can't make a booking on weekday for roof insulation. They should know that people are usually working on weekdays! Or maybe they do this one purpose. =3

I bought my J Spec with 3k discount, free tinting (external), steering lock and full tank. Still waiting though.

I don't think it'll be nice to just publish his number publicly but if you're interested then give me a PM. =]

I have no idea how that works, sorry for that. Hahaha. Anyway, his name is De Kee and I met him at Balakong Toyota (Wing Hin Sdn Bhd). I'm not sure if he's affiliated with that dealer or he can just go anywhere. Have no knowledge of how they work. Anyway, you can look him up, or PM me if you need his number. Hahaha

On an unrelated note, there's a poster who says that his knocking issue is gone after replacing to a newer engine mounting. How's it going?

I am unsure of the actual engine mounting number but when I'm going through Toyota Tribe they showed the image of the new mounting. It is apparently the same type of mounting as second gen Vios, where it has a flat head instead of a volcano mountain-ish protrusion in the middle.

Ya, hope that they have it included, instead of needing me to get there and get them serviced myself. Pray! Hahaha biggrin.gif

Dayum, that additional 1.5k ::yum::

What makes you take Vios over CT though? CT no good meh? I took Vios because I'm already biased since long ago. God car. Foreman say no need repair forever. Hahaha (/k/ always make people talk like tards)

I think that's a pretty good Offer. I got tinting + full tank + steering lock + 3k rebate. Tinting + full tank + steering lock is hardly 2k. (I doubt they will give you expensive tinting, most likely around 500 bucks tinting at most)

I got my car yesterday. So far so good. Am enjoying the experience so far. I notice that the knocking noise is still there though. It happened twice so far. But it has low chance of happening if I am driving the way I usually drive though. I go real slow at bumps. Hahaha

Will still get it replaced at 1k service if it recurs too much. See how it goes. =]

I'm not sure when is my car made. Anywhere that I can check? I have to wait for one and a half months before I get it so I'll assume it's a 2014 batch.

I think that the knocking sound appears on both driver side and passenger side. Do they replace both the mountings or only the affected side? The sound is rather dispersed, I'll need to try a few more times to confirm the origin.

But damn, I don't wanna hurt my car.

@aromachong

I am not exactly sure but I heard the same cases from Hyundai SA when I worked for a event with them last time.

They say that the color mismatch happens because some of the parts are imported/sprayed at different location. The parts only come together during assembly and hence the difference. They did mention that some customers complained about their cars but I'm not sure if they repainted them. I doubt so though.
