Does anyone here also same as mine?
*

the FC is really depends on the driving behaviour and traffic condition one.

but 400km and 500km is about 100km difference, heavy footer also not so heavy right?

i always drive with eco light on, but it seems to me eco light is just a gimmick la.
*
my referral was to the ones with 350-380km range... not this 500km ones... laugh.gif

nowadays its very difficult to get 500km per tank on such typical car.

Sponge pad to add on roof for this new vios.

Still got lot of people dont know can claim back from toyota.
*
mine still waiting for the "parts" to arrive... shakehead.gif

yeah.... Toyota never make a mass recall as its not safety related issue. So, they just release bulletins internally regarding this knocking and noise roof issue.

they will only tackle these whenever complaints come in.

Same here as they said it come from thailand.

The knocking issue is comfirm engine mouting ??later change d also same problem.
*
same, they said the parts are from Thai.

at least for my case its engine mounting. I find it relevant as both my feet and hands could feel the bad vibration when engaged in D on total halt.

Hello all Sifu~~, I am planning to trade in my old car to get a new Vios.

Still thinking between to get 1.5E or 1.5G specs, any sifu can advise which specs to get and whether the 1.5G spec really worth it?

And any good sales person to recommend me with best rebate + trade in service + all other service? I'm staying in Cheras/KL.
Hope can share with me via PM on the sales person + rebate/cash value that can give to me smile.gif

Hehehe, hope to be a new toyota member soon and join you all~!
*
with RM80k+ price tag, i would suggest you to take a look at both Ford Fiesta and Honda City.

compare it with Vios and you will see how bad Vios is.

the last check for Vios rebate was RM2k rebate and additional few hundred bucks rebate from SA commission.

as for Fiesta, there was this RM8k rebate which looks damn bloody attractive.

for City, i don't think there is any promotion since its newly launched. Perhaps between RM300-500 rebate personally from SA.

i found tyre pressure very much affect the fc, used to follow car sticker f220/r210, then i try f210/r210 see if soft abit help lesser dashboard vibrating noise,
but ended up continuously decrease 30km for 2 times, pump back 220 immediately  sweat.gif
*
laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

of course lower pressure tyre would makan more minyak due to the heavier traction.

one of my fren also encounter this problem but not related to mounting issue.. also got "tuk" sound upon speed bump...

the sc open dashboard and see wire loosen and some compartment also loosen.. so what they did is tighten it ... and the issue miracle... resolved... ? weird right?
*
that's really a miracle then... but the cabin vibration in my ride is bad... which further leads to engine mounting issue.

lets see how after my fix next wednesday.

For those that have registered with Tribe Toyota,
does your service interval in Tribe is set to every 5K or 10K?
My preferred oil is always semi sync, therefore the next service is 10K. Don't know if it's only me or affect the others as well.
Those who still use mineral, what is ur service interval set to?
*
first 1k and 5k is mineral... coming 10k is semiSyn.

I believe only fully synthetic able to achieve 10K mileage, for semi not too sure though. RoxyMunky, u dare to push for 10K until your next service?
*
i wouldn't run 10k on a semiSyn.

Thanks for the feedback. Bit pricey than almera n city. Still thinking  rclxub.gif
*
City is around RM2k cheaper... Vios got this RM2k rebate... so its even.

For almera, of course much cheaper at Rm67k only for the base model + some goodies some more.

Do check out Mitsubishi Attrage as well since your looking for best bang per buck. RM76k full set i think.. but its only 1.2L unit.
