my door-to-door service cost RM320. If you walk in shop, should be around RM280-300.

make sure its genuine LockTech as shown above. Outside got alot imitation and similar product.

we can buy and install this plug-n-play OBDII device that enables door lock via brake engage; similar to Myvi.

it cost RM120 i think.

found another option that suits you more... speed lock:
http://www.mudah.my/Toyota+Nissan+Honda+OB...ck-27955744.htm

RM110 only.

Product Function:

1. Auto Lock when speed up to 20km/h
2. Auto Unlock when flameout car
3. Recycle Lock

Product Advantage:

1. Canbus technology / Original CANBUS design, as to achieve auto lock or unlock.
2. Original OBD socket, easy for installation.
3. For 4 windows.
4. OBD connector, plug and play design, no need cut any wires or pay for any installation.
5. Stable performance & durable product.

there was new law somewhere in year 2010/2011 whereby this kind of autoLock was banned due to safety concern.

thats why all new car manufactured from that period onwards don't have this feature.

Better dont get the one when u turn off ur engine, the doors will unlock. As nowadays very unsafe to have that feature. People that planned to steal ur car, will wait until u turn off u engine and the moment all doors are unlock, they will go in from the back. My friend experience it before.

So its best if you just buy the auto lock and not the auto unlock doh.gif

and for the brake locks, im not sure izit the same. but my dad's using one also, controlled by the brakes, sometimes when u off ur engine and step on the brakes, it'll delay and the moment u get down the car and close ur door, ur car locks itself. If you forget to take ur key out, bad luck lol kena alot times d.

So speed sensor will be the best choice biggrin.gif

Is the NVH problem of third gen Vios the same as second gen Vios?

What is HU by the way?

Getting my car in mid August. Given how I have driven an 18 years old Wira for my whole life, I suppose it will not be worse? Hahaha
