Haha yup me also after a week time aswell. Btw,will going SC tmn midah later for the appointment check-up for those problems. Need mechanic for test drive. If confirm is those problems (front knocking sound and worse roof insulate),then tomorrow early morning need to go there again to fix it

once checked and confirmed, will arrange another day for parts changing --> front knocking issue and the tin roof insulation.

Yes,that's why i'm at SC here now. Waiting for test drive now. Once notice the problem,will send my car in by tomorrow morning to change/fix the parts

actually the roof can do insulation, but the side doors how? damn noisy when raining.

the doors is culprit when you could hear motorbike exhaust noise~

normal condition already bad, raining worst, the whole car sounds like a leaking house.

soundproof your car boot and floor first.

autofoam the door pillar A and B, including side beam between the doors.

How abt others ???i think we need write a official letter to toyota hq for thin roof insulation n knocking sound from lower parts of our vehicle.

This will the 3rd week i'm driving my car, So far i didn't hear any knocking sound from any parts of the car. TOUCH WOOD!.

But roof sound insulation is a must fix from TOYOTA. unacceptable at all.

why every sales agent and even service center always ask to give high marks ? Some even said when received the questionnaires please return to sales person or service center. So that they can write themselves.

I end up fire up what i felt discomfort and tell them the good and bad experiences.

Have to off the radio everythings n hear....you can hear knocking sound a bit over the bump n uneven road...this is what i hear from other n tested got that kind of knocking sound

Yes problem confirmed is the engine mounting lower part.. But need to wait.. Sigh!! As running out of stock now.. Just can wait the stock arrive then will contact me..

Yeaaa.. Try speeding over bumps or at uneven road

the sound won't happen at "smooth end" type hump, it make noise at the point when the tyre sudden drop from a taller place, pothole is easier to make it

Today tested the new Vios fuel usage almost until its limit.
Odometer show 338km. The fuel almost empty and warning light already on. Range or km to go show 16km.
Suddenly, the range display changed from 16 to 0.
Already panic because in heavy jam near Jalan Pudu..
Off aircond and looking for petrol station. Luckily after 3km, found one. Fill up full tank Ron 95,RM70.
Don't know why it changed from 16 to 0 in split second, any idea?

my answer.... lol remember to send back anyway because each of it worth rm20 service voucher, i got 3 total rm60
my comment on sales and sc is still very good, because even they can't solve my problem and starting to talk c*ck, they say it with very professional "japanese company smile".

sent my car in this morning to Balakong SC.

they confirmed the knocking noise presence and the roof insulation.

apart from this, i got noises from both driver and passenger side door.

They will try to rectify the issue by today if parts available and timing allowed.

else, another appointment upon parts availability.

If ur doors case can be claim/complain.. Do let me know.. I will complain refer to ur car no. plat.. They will refer to ur records and complaint.. So easy for me to complain.. Wont give them excuse liked "it's like that" !!
