Better KIV any order until after CNY is over or risk getting your item stuck in Limbo. By the way, our RM is sliding toward 3.6 now so any order will going to cost more.

.__.

I was looking forward for Maquette Su-25UB and KP Model Su-25 (since those are cheapest one available with shark decal) so that I could accompany my Altaya Su-25

And Italeri Hind F with add on resin pilots. I thought if it was possible to attain before next week I would send the pilot to a friend to do recast.

Goes I have to continue with Zvezda Topol for now.

why does it took so much time and effort to build this thing only to reach only here :/
i thought doing 1/72 scale would not be that time consuming since i did my wespe last time, that was kinda easy (with the exception of customizing the superstructure and adding in additional details)

7 hours and I made this. Tsk sleep.gif

I didn't expect it to be this detailed sweat.gif
Last time I did saw the WIP of the 1/72 Hind, and compared to other manufacturer, it was super detailed. They even tackle the engine bay just in case any modeler wanted to do a maintainence scene.

And I thought "Well, maybe they only did on certain kits."

Boy am I sooo wrong. Penat woo pasang chasis only laugh.gif

I give up and opt for fast build kit. Some italeria kit got option for fast build two-in-one for war gaming that is more robust and easy to build. The detail is mold on rather then tiny part. So, one can choice which to build. Can get from HHQ. Just open up and see the instruction.

haha building a military Kit is very consuming time compared to the assembly snap fit. last time it took me a whole day just to build the Meng T90 moveable truck Link. Fuuuuuu.
i need to go tru this process again if i gonna build the BMPT. Fuuuuu.
but once finish build, the model look really awesome & well detail, it really worth the effort.

yeah that i agree. There is only one thing that irks me though, some fast build kit comes with rather fat treads, which totally detracts the looks of it. Even worse, it could also be blank on the inner part of treads :sweat;

Whatever the joy of building 1/35, I would try to stay away. Single links, while very much detailed, seems very much energy consuming IMHO. But I ain't complaining laugh.gif I am just thinking of space issue too, hehe.

IINM some of Meng's offering also requires the modeller to attach the guidehorn onto the treads, then assemble it to another before adding in pins and locking it. Is this true?

Ww2 truck(2pcs) is easy to build compared or modern Tank (5pcs).

so much details goes into making one sweat.gif

this reaffirm my belief that I should just stick with 1/72, for now.

I am going back to 1/72 scale after trying out the 1/35. Just too much parts to be build. On average for trump kit like what I have - Asla-25, BTR-60P, and Stryker TOW. All average about 400 parts. Those with individual track will shot up the part to about 600+. Must tracks will come in around 200 parts. I dropping that Takom trailer for my 2S19 msata. Just too much time and space taken up. My pre-order for all Russian vehicle will arrival end of this month - BTR-80, BTR-80A, BMP-2D, BMP-T and 2S19 Msata. Good thing is all can be painted by just getting a ready-made modern Russian paint set!

Yes, saw that on pre-order list but I already finish all my budget for now. My wallet already burn RM700+ for that five pre-order kits. With CNY around the corner and my little kids going to kiddy, thing are tight. Maybe that Sherman Easy Eight by Tamiya will do to wrap it up. The metal track cost the same as that kit at RM150/= each set!
