oh my, price have jack up so much?
got my Platz Panzer IV F2 version for about RM200 with EMS shipping last year at Hobby Search

other panzer like Tiger I, StuG and other Garupan panzer seem like got discount now at major online shop
and let me tell you,this kit not for human one

avoid Platz and go for other maker instead

my 1st Navy warship kit

it is Fujimi 1/700 Phantom "Super" Yamato
with fictional 51cm double cannon instead of triple 46cm

beginner in hobby, skills expert

delayed the tank WIP since last year
I seriously will boycott Dragon/Platz kit
and go for Tamiya instead

Fujimi or Tamiya is good
usually 1/700 scale is good already for building , or you can try bigger size 1/350 although not cheap

if you want to pick one, pick with photo etched details part and wooden deck bundled. Usually this one selling separately and always often sold out
also which one you like, waterline or full hull version?

waterline majority got many version on market and cheaper too, if you lucky you can find with Fujimi water effect part bundled
full hull is full body ship and have display stand but usually it is a bit expensive than water line and too few model released in market

I recommend ships from Imperial Japanese Naval(IJN) since Japan model kits manufacturer like Tamiya and Fujimi release it more than ships from other countries

how about battleship Yamato or Nagato for beginning?
about the painting should be easy enough for beginner... watch this tutorial

get same tank from other model company from Tamiya or other
and custom made the decals

depend what scale you choose. 1/700 Yamato is about 30cm length
1/350 is about 70cm length

destroyer and any other IJN classified ships is too small to build especially submarine

woah thats so tempting for Tamiya kit..

got la, the Platz GuP version is Dragon kit, only they add decals and box based on GuP anime

ok what, considering the item status now is discontinued
me last time bought PZ IV F2 RM200 with shipping
but discovered they make a discount sales few month later

they already state "Prices are automatically linked to market prices in Japan, some rare items are more expensive than regular price."
me bought from HobbySearch

maybe they stock-in rare item based on demand thats why resulting higher price

preorder price still acceptable there

similar what
only few inches different
put in turret you wont even notices the different
