That 4D gun come ready molded in color plastic. One can re-paint it to bring out the detail. I did bought some from the book store from prangin Mall for around RM4/= each. They also sell the so call 4D tank and plane set that is totally out of 1/72 scale they printed on. So, I don't think it 1/6 scale. Maybe smaller. I like their MG42. My Hobbyboss CV90-40C and ZTZ-99A1 is almost ready except for their track that take ages to assemble. Will do a poster color painting of it once it ready.

I just finish base coat my T-72B ERA and trying to complete the ZTZ-99A1 track before starting my ZDB-05 (which also come with individual track!). Maybe I will do my LAV-R first for a break from working on those track. Now I remember why I stop last time...it due to that stupid tracks!

How much U and where U get that T-90A Meng? It look well detail with interior engine. The track is workable and need glue? I saw a new trumpeter BTR-4 with interior detail coming up this year. Getting tired of working on a track all day long.

That a lot of detail working on track alone. No wonder the box are so huge - half of it is the track. Revell and Tamiya track are much easy to work with. Finally complete my ZTZ and CV90 track after working on-off for the whole week on it. Will spray paint it. I will drop my ideal to get those track for now and wait for the wheeler BTR-4 with interior detail. Thanks.

HHQ is in KL, too far for us in the north. It been a year since I last went there. No many 1:72 scale armour left. I did bought the entire collection of PST model kit of soviet tanks and some Revell figure from Mr.Low last time. Will check it out again during the coming school holiday next week to see if the offer still on.

I often collect the cap of used drinking bottle and use it to mix the colour I wanted. After use, just throw away and use a new one. The white cap is the best as it allow one to see the color better. Use a fine brush to paint it before getting myself a airbrush from Limfreelance here. It a great deal indeed as he give extra mixing pan.

Saw that T-34 with full interior and a transparent case. It come with both case depend on what youw want to build. Cost around RM140/= each in Penang. The Bronco armour car Humber also come with full interior detail with both transparent and normal casing. Will take a closer look today on both kit.

I got that T-72B ERA and M60A3 minihobby. It a copy of Tamiya but poorer quality at half the price. It have quality issue as my M60A3 come with a missing wheel and the T-72B hull does not fit well. A big challenging to re-build it. As a beginner who is on a tight budget. Go for it. The motor also does not align well. Can be make as a toy but beware, the fragile part like MG gun will fall out when one play with it in battle.

Building that T-72B Era, the hard part is to layout the ERA as different photo show different layout. End up with some left over ERA after completed the model and wonder where should it go. Am I putting the ERA the right place as some come with a huge block while other is individual block. I actually bought two of them, left one - will swap it with IFV.

My Christmas wish list I place a pre-order from WHM penang is: 1. Trumpeter BTR-80 2. Trumpeter BTR-80A 3.Trumpeter BMP-2 4. Terminator BMP-T Meng. That will be my wishlist before I call it off.
Got hobbyboss EBR-11, Hobbyboss Nimrod 40mm Bofors and dragon sdkf 7/1 quad flak from them during the sales 30% off at Straits Quay. Will go back to exchange the Dragon model as it too hard to do for me due to it confusing instruction and too many parts! So, there go all my half month bonus for this year. |
