fascinating. im a gunpla-er, but after building military model for the 1st time (with my gf), i have nothing but utmost respect for military modellers. for gunpla, everything is readily available, and easy snap fit. but military model have alot of small parts, alot of parts that need some refinement, not to mention alot of tiny bits that has to be glued.

just expressing my feelings smile.gif cheers!

building this ship with my gf, she is the one more into military. im the gunpla modeller tongue.gif

not to mention painting. Gunpla makes modeling easier with multicolored sprue, and proper color separation. Military model makes sure on fully appreciate the build with dull monotone color so modeler can't cheat by building OOB tongue.gif

oh ya, and the painting. even the most lazy build, also need to paint it all the way. tongue.gif

anyhow, still painstakingly piecing 2gether the ship. forgot the ship name...its some old japanese torpedo ship? should have build the tank model 1st...lesser parts, can practice with it 1st sweat.gif

A couple of weeks back, I went to Daisheng near Petaling Street there. You see, Daisheng was THE place to search Tamiya based products as well as the customization tools and equipments.Ultraman too.

I used to walk to the shop after school to get my models.

To my surprise, they have already converted into a wholesale shop, selling pasar malam kinda toys. I noticed a few Tamiya boxes, very old ones, but they were those 4WD testing machines.

I asked the current towkay, why the change of focus. He said, model kits dont have any market anymore.

How sad. Another chilhood memory ruined.

I think the towkay is now the son right?

remember those days when I saved my lunch monies and worked in pasar malam to buy TFs and tamiya models.

TFs at Hankyu Jaya and Tamiya is Daisheng

U can try rearrange them may be will pop out some space for it.
Example like throw some useless stuff like boxes or store into box for some not very like toys stuff.
Me got this kind of space after construction my room and do rearrange and throwing and store up.
Good Luck for you then. icon_rolleyes.gif
