I did place a pre-order on this one but no more stock from italeria so skip ship collection and go back to armour - focus on btr-80/a and IFV. The revell spz.puma look cheap even the box is cut cost. Fun to build type as it not too complicated like the trumpeter and etc kit. More like Tamiya type.

Your decal you print yourself or special order? Is the Type 59 tank by minihobby? How much it cost to your door step? I just get a few 1/72 Mokit from HHQ. GTK Boxer is only 1/72 but it have over 150 parts on it! There is fast-build kit for T-34 by italeria that come with two tank in a box.

Here is my shopping list at HHQ, can't carry too much as I went to KL by bus. The fare now increase to RM40/= each way. The Gtk Boxer was nice as it come in 150 parts with separate module just like a bigger 1:35 kit. Good addition to the Leopard II of CTC.[attachmentid=4236236]

I got that Scorpion but did not build it to Malaysia army type, just a UNPROFOR in KOSOVO. It a tiny tank as compare to other. Around the size of a M113 APC. The closer one to Malaysia Adnan will be dutch YPR-765 by afv club.

Better KIV any order until after CNY is over or risk getting your item stuck in Limbo. By the way, our RM is sliding toward 3.6 now so any order will going to cost more.

I give up and opt for fast build kit. Some italeria kit got option for fast build two-in-one for war gaming that is more robust and easy to build. The detail is mold on rather then tiny part. So, one can choice which to build. Can get from HHQ. Just open up and see the instruction.

I am going back to 1/72 scale after trying out the 1/35. Just too much parts to be build. On average for trump kit like what I have - Asla-25, BTR-60P, and Stryker TOW. All average about 400 parts. Those with individual track will shot up the part to about 600+. Must tracks will come in around 200 parts. I dropping that Takom trailer for my 2S19 msata. Just too much time and space taken up. My pre-order for all Russian vehicle will arrival end of this month - BTR-80, BTR-80A, BMP-2D, BMP-T and 2S19 Msata. Good thing is all can be painted by just getting a ready-made modern Russian paint set!

Yes, saw that on pre-order list but I already finish all my budget for now. My wallet already burn RM700+ for that five pre-order kits. With CNY around the corner and my little kids going to kiddy, thing are tight. Maybe that Sherman Easy Eight by Tamiya will do to wrap it up. The metal track cost the same as that kit at RM150/= each set!

Spade aces is available from FB - Scale Armor Warehouse in PJ. Good price on metal link. Get one set RM150/=. Get more discount more. It cost twice the normal trumpeter ind.link track but the track look good. The down part is painting it, must use metal stain to turn it into blackish track color - that going to cost more.....

Yes, those cheap kit after building it will be off- the shelf and forgotten. Try Zvezda kit, they are cheap and easy build like italeri. Doing a BTR-70 afghan version with extra tyre. Just get my Meng BMP-T last Saturday. This year will go all Russian for me.

Dragon kit is hard to do especially their instruction booklet with too busy diagram on it. I just give up and return them back after reading the instruction. The only one I keep is their M4A3 Sherman coz it come with rubber dragon track with good detail without having to do individual link. Scub that come with high parts counts.... better stay away and get the trumpy one. Hope Meng will do it as their instruction is first class. Maybe I will get the dragon black label series - saladdin armour car.

Due to too many sales last year 2014, my stash of kit backlog is now over 20 already. Must resist to add more until I build it all this year or next with this year starting on Zvezda BTR-70 and BMD-2. BMD-2 is small kit that can be build in a evening or two. That S35 look good especially the track. Yes, never touch a panda kit bmd-1 with it tiny track. You will regret it as my friend bought it and never finish the kit.

Using kitchen tissue paper will be easy to wrap it. Better cover it well then having to re-do again due to overspray. Me use matt black first before apply hand painting or green paint. I always have this 3 color in my inventory - matt black, green and brown. Standard NATO color.

The pink color type we always see on the table. It good for wrapping around delicate parts and can stuff into the air-intake hole for spraying. We usually don't spray too heavy coat. That MIG-25 is huge plane. You can hang it using fishing line on the ceiling.

They are make of steel rather then aluminium too. That forger look so nasty with two seater. Never see this one before. That why I am going for Russian stuff and big gun this year. After finish my two Russian Zvezda BMD-2 and BTR-70, I will do the Mi-8 Heli. Great looking one with many different decal version provided.
