That SU-27UB well paint camo with all the outline. Using the same airbrush as the one you sold? I will try to do it as I start to practice the airbrush skill.

Agreed the spray can can cover off the fine detail. Airbrush is the best. You need to get a airbrush and a big cheap thinner 802 from the hardware shop for cleaning it or the better way, join the model club and make use of the airbrush there.

S-model 2-in-1 kit quick assemble look detail enough for a 1/72. How much for a box? Is it better to get two or more box to save on postage? Is the price low enough to escape custom duty?

Ok, will try out S-model after I finish all my backlog of 1/35 now stacking up at my workshop. The new 1/16 T-72 from Trumpeter look good with plenty of parts.

That a big collection fo SU-25 you got there - love that SU-25UTG with it two seater version. Now you can build the new Iraqi SU-25 as that the newer state to operate it. Just as I love Russian BTR and collect all of them. You need a small air brush to get good painting as I learn to use it after getting one from limfreelance. It a good unit as I get good result from my tank painting. Big different then the old day when I just use hand painting and spray can.

For airbrush cleaning, I bought a laquer thinner 900 for around RM16/= for 3 litre. It smell bad but very strong. My friend bought a windex glass cleaner and it does the job just fine. Just need to drop a thinner to the airbrush after use, empty back all the unused back to paint jar. clean it with tissue, drop a few drop to dilute it. then pour windex glass cleaner (the blue one use for car glass) and bumble it. pour it out, put water and wash again.

I will try using brush for the track in 1/72 as the after assemble. Will give it a overall airbrush Russian green and will try using the brush to touch up the track. Those 1/72 are so tiny. Sometime, I just replace it with wire.

How much is that track with shipping as it can cost half the price of the kit. Shipping should be lower due to it low weight of 250g/box. The metal track price gone up a lot due to weaker RM. Just settle with the original track till the time when RM gone up again.

It selling for the same price here around RM40/box those trumpeter and bronco track but I think AFV club are much easier to do then the other. I got one WE210 track for my british Sherman and it been a crazy week building it.

That plenty lot of plane for the deck. My only give a few, need to buy separate box. Anyway, it fun to just spray it white and use a marker dip a red mark on it for the rising sun. Add a black for the tip and use a marker pen blue mark a few line on the fin. If got silver dot the front propeller and it all done. Will try the AK black wash to see how the tiny model look like.

How much is that Track 1946 with postage to Malaysia cost? Is it easy to kenal kastam for two box as I am build Chinese Type 59/69-II tank that use the same track. Thinking of replacing that viny track. Now, I am trying to finish my Type 80 MBT. It similar to all Type 59/69 sharing many common spruce except the hull with it 6-wheel running gear.

Taobao look like very good price but must resist buying anymore as my backlog is just as much as lim. First, I must find the display space first before starting on it. There is about five 90% done waiting for the airbrush to start the job before final assembly due to it interior and hard to reach area. My Type 59/69/80 hopefully be completed by next week.

I think the cheaper way is to sand it down a little just to fit the track. One can also use a mini drill to enlarge the hole a little for the sprocket teeth to go into it. The metal track going to cost you as much as that maus, and most of it will be hidden. I was thinking along this when I look for that trumpeter track as I will only be using half of it, for the front and back as most part will be hidden by the cover.

Did not know that Chinese Type 59 sprocket is different then Russian T-54 as they look similar. I build 3 of them from Type 59D,69-II and Type 80. Type 80 is different with six wheel rather then five as on normal Type 59-69, My Ti-67 that can build into T-54 or T-55 share common spruce with my Type 59 from Trumpeter.
