every device might have different DPI on stock too. I'm not sure what's the DPI for S3, N5 is 480 DPI stock. so beside screen resolution, if you want to show more content than S3, simple. just change to lower density. currently I'm on SlimKat, the dev change from stock 480 DPI to 370 DPI, love it. beside custom rom, there is also several rooted app on PLAY can change that too.

I planning to get nexus 5 later, but the shop guy told his unit is AP set.
