You can eat them as long as you know what you're eating. I don't really have good metabolism. The key to fat loss is to eat less than you need per day regardless of what you eat. Though I do maintain balanced macros while some of the carbs, I fill them up with food that I enjoy. TLDR: Eat less calories than you need per day = fat loss.
