This is Sony trademark, get use to it. By the way, both also looking ok, as long it not white out, Z1 compact use high quality panel IPS not like Z1, so it won't have this issue.

Apparently Sony hasn't has much new phones to launch nowadays. Im pretty sure it would not be long after the launch in Europe. I think the Malaysian market is quite update nowdays in terms of new phones and tablet launching. Just look at the Iphone 5s, we were in the 2nd quarter of launch. This shows we have some buying power around here.

I beg to differ. Normally with new phones they have most probably addressed these issues before releasing the phone into the market.

Sony never, at least it is not for Sony in year 2013. Sony use different manufacture panel and came with different output. This happen in 3 Sony phone I buy before - Z, ZL and Z Ultra as I compare before. As for latest Z1 I didn't buy but it is well known issue as well.

That why I said this is Sony Trademark. Hehe!

Nowadays Sony are utilizing more quality components for its phones. Just like Nokia did.

When ZR was officially announced in Malaysia, it's RRP at RM1649. With ZR's spec ady RM1649. So I'm thinkin Z1 Compact will at least be RM1649.

And also imho, this will pawn Z and ZR. Ppl will consider topping up to get the better Z1 Compact (20.3 G 1/2.3 Cam, better snapdragon processor, Triluminous display).

My guess is that it'll retail at RM1799.

Yeah, good for those who want a powerful mini phone.
