Anyways, the killer for me will be the batter life reports.

Yes it's a smaller battery, but it's also a smaller and lower density screen. So, kinda hard to predict.

I dont mind. Most important is compact size so that can fit inside my pocket. Dont wanna carry a "Tablet" sized phone around like the Z1 or Note 3.

Well, I wouldn't call the Z1 a phablet, although it is huge.

The compact size with powerful processor and specs means it has so much spare horsepower for the future. Combine with metal casing and waterproof, should hopefully last very long. Considering I'm using the S2, it's not much of a difference in terms of size for me, so it really is tempting.
Apparently the G2 is really more efficient than the Z1, although in real life usage, I wonder if the gap is really that big? Haven't really read the battery consumption reports of users in the G2 thread.

Anyway, yeah, only issue now is battery life for me. I want a phone that lasts a day without charging.

Sony never, at least it is not for Sony in year 2013. Sony use different manufacture panel and came with different output. This happen in 3 Sony phone I buy before - Z, ZL and Z Ultra as I compare before. As for latest Z1 I didn't buy but it is well known issue as well.

That why I said this is Sony Trademark. Hehe!
