yes I am sure , i have seen people with Intel ABG..But remember ,Broadcom cards are generally better then Intel. IMHO , my iBook could even detect the weakest signal that other Intel wifi card powered lappies can't
There are some tweaking you need to do , if you wish to save some 'juice'
BTW ,you can google...

IMO Original Broadcom is better for me [You need to tweak the 'Advance rate settings in the network properties] , iori_argami. You could do change the network adapter and test it for yourself.

use DNA Drivers , they seem to give some 'umph' to the Go 6150 !

If you have a Linksys router [GS or DD-WRT with AfterBurner Enabled] , then using a Broadcom card has an advantage , that is you can make use of SpeedBooster and cool '54g-broadcom' stuff....
Intel boosts itself because of its all-in-one stuff , like CPU and everything else. So it has a full control on everything

6150 is an onboard VGA and X1300/X1400 is a (semi) dedicated VGA. You can't compare both , its just like comparing oranges and apples
6150<X1400 6150<X1300 GeForce6150 > X200 GeForce 6150 > GMA 900 GeForce 6150 > GMA 950
If you're not an avid gamer , then I would go for GeForce 6150. It runs all the games on the market [okay , well ...erm.....only in the lowest/low settings], but for an onboard video card thats a lot of 'power'....

L2 plays an important role in office related tasks , thats why Intel pawns AMD on that.....but gaming wise [Core Duo vs Turion 64] , Turion 64 beats that

Recovery CD comes with everything , that includes Microsoft Works , COMPAQ Bloatwares , COMPAQ/HP QuickPlay , COMPAQ/HP Drivers and all those extras with pre-installed XP Home + Drivers . Its sorta all-in-one. It would just restore everything....
vs
Windows XP Retail/OEM
You would only get Windows XP Retail/OEM OS [But then you cant' get all the add-ons like Microsoft Works , Encarta* Standard]

No , by default its preinstalled on to your HD [it takes away 8GB..its pre-installed there for you]. But again COMPAQ gives you an option to transfer it to a DVD. So , if you want to be double/triple safe , you could always move it to CD and free up 8GB or you could leave it in the HDD [i.e it would better , since you dont have to carry around the CD]

GeForce 6150 > GMA 950....because GeForce is a GeForce
I think this lappy is picky about its RAM. Better watch out , make sure they are using the same latency , otherwise you would have a problem

GMA 950 lacks of nVidia's VideoShader , TrueVideo stuff that pumps cystal clear video.......It has an impact on the GPU/CPU !

I think its a no for now...But anyway it would be better to take Turion 64 X2 then Core 2 Duo with GMA 950

Cache has an impact on programs. How fast they would load. For an average user , they would not be no impact* for an average user !

Seriously an average Joe , nothing...Larger cache only gives some nice umph. Even with my Sempron [128K cache] could beat a crap out of 1MB Celeron-M Processor in gaming. But again when it comes to productivity , hahahahaha , Celerom M beats AMD...Thats for sure
Pentium M vs Celeron M...Pentium M wins ,

TL-52 has a little bit larger L2 Cache [well you see the price shoots up when the L2 Caches goes up...its simple , the higher the L2 Cache , the more expensive the processor would be]. So TL-52 would be little bit more expensive....Again if you're running 'Office' or mainly into productivity , go for Core Duo. You would need the cache...its important . But if you're going towards gaming then productivity , then I would suggest you to go for AMD as it has a good 64-bit processor and a good onboard Video card
Its that simple , for me it does no real umph...Its just that a larger L2 Cache helps in applications such as Microsoft Office , Photoshop and stuff like that
