Well Sempron is just like Celeron , for me its okay. To tell you the truth , It might not be fast as a Turion or Pentium-M , but again its for 'budget computer users'...RM 2299 , wow...its quite cheap !

ATI Xpress 1150 is just a remake of X300 DDR2....Thats all , its just a new name by ATi for their onboard X300 Graphics card.

I think the Turion could take it , take a look at AMD's site , and you would know that Turion X2 comes with its own 128-bit memory controller vs 64-bit/128-bit on Intel [Notice , you would only get 128-bit memory controller on higher end laptops...I could be wrong , but its pretty rare to see on Intel-based notebooks]

X1150/X200M is just a remake of X300
Nvidia GeForce Go 6100/6150 is just a remake of GeForce 6200...

you could get it from COMPAQ's Website or AMD's website itself [check out the first few posts]

NHC allows you to control t he voltage of your processor. Right click the yellow flag and choose the green flag [aka Max Battery] , your processor would be in Max. Power Saving Mode , aka it uses the lowest voltage thus it produces less heat and longer battery life !

nx6325 has Biomatrix fingerprint detector , now there is even better reasons for theifs to cut your poor fingers.........

ATI Xpress 1150 vs GeForce Go 6150 = Again , GeForce Go can't make use of Pixel Shader 3.0 , seriously....IGPs can really go beyond Pixel Shader 1.1 , to tell you the truth. Sure you could play the game with Pixel Shader 3 turned on , but that would put a lot of load on the GPU and this GPU can't take it. Therefore its the same , I could say Xpress 1150 = GeForce Go 6150. But GeForce Go 6150 beats Xpress series in terms of 'HD Stuff'

Yeah, wait for Dell's AMD Based laptop. Then its worth it to get from them. I guess even the low-end Dell's lappie would have a good Bulit-in graphics card

Then get the v3040 , if you're into serious 'programming' , this includes building from source and stuff like that. You need a bigger L2 Cache. But if you're into movies , then GeForce Go 6150 would do the trick

You would need Core 2 duo , but Turion 64 is a 64-bit processor , so...you have to pick 1 !

Well you can wait for it to drop..Dont get notebooks now , wait for Centrino Revision 3 to come out , which is around next year. It offers new stuff like 802.11n and a new motherboard design and as well as a new Intergrated Graphics from Intel...

Two options , go for current Turion now or just wait for New Revisions of Core 2 Duo chips and motherboard

If I were you , aka the budget side , i would just get the Turion. Good graphics card , who cares !

For me , I could play FEAR on my Sempron with ATI Mobility Radeon X200. If i could play on the lowest settings and I turned on some stuff in Medium Settings [Like Textures]. It could just work

Well with Dual Core and much more faster GPU , I think the laptop could take it. Just bump the RAM to 1GB !

Lastly , it beats the crap out of an Intel GMA 9XX series graphics card
