could someone help me.. i am using compaq presario v3000 AMDx2 1.6 512DDR2 80GB hardisk Nvidia Go 6150.
it says that the graphic could share memory with the ram...but i couldn't find the option to change the share rate...ehhehe...if i am not mistaken...rite now it is using 64MB of my ram...how could i increase it...? i've been searching it at bios...but there is nothing...it just says that maximun share memory is 256MB but there are no option 2 adjust...help... |

I have a question, is it possible to upgrade the graphics card for compaq presarios? compaq is telling me that the max video ram i can achieve is 32mb the other 32mb is dynamic even running higher than 1gb ram. What is a Defeatured Motherboard??? Apparently my board is a df board not a full featured.

Upgrade your bios, with F34 you can select the amount of dedicated video memory it will use from the ram along with the shared memory.

i wanna the bios version is wat version... hv flash wrong bios version now... cannot boot windown now... once switch on, it load until the window xp logo n restart again n again... headache now !!! help me please... |

I have a problem with my Compaq Presario V3164AU. I bought it last month. But yesterday,something goes wrong with my notebook. When I turn it on,the screen is blank. Tell me what's the problem.

Tell me what's the problem. under warranty sent back to HP if out of warranty then u can try this  - remove battery and power on - used diffrent power adapter borrow from fren example, power on - remove hdd/odd and power on - remove addtional memory, just put one and power on - connect to a monitor and power on, make sure u select the external monitor using Fn key + monitor if u had try all of the above your mainboard maybe the probem |
