About time a new thread Welcome to Manchester The most important player in City's history
A worthwhile 12 mins to get to know our superstar Aquero and reflect on his striking prowess. Especially at the tail end of the video Then you can understand why he is the only ONE, with the special skills & Canny Ability to score highlight goals, that can score at the last min of City's Title Winning Season.
The best player in PL right now.
Class is Permanent.
Why?
In 2007 FIFA U20 WC in Canada, I was there to watch Aguero, Angel di Maria, Gerard Pique, Juan Mata, Suarez, Cavani, Pato, Giovanni dos Santos, Altidore, Freddy Adu et al.
Suarez team was KO by Altidore's team. Suarez & Cavani couldn't do much.
Aguero was the man among the boys winning the Golden ball & Golden Boot of the WC tournament. Literally he bootstrapped the rest of the Argentina team to win the WC with his goals. From all angles & unexpected areas of the pitch. Since then I followed him
Now you can understand why my joy overflowed when Aguero came to City.
Watched the above video again to appreciate this Prodigy.

Good Call by Referee (after consulting with Linesman) to DISALLOW the goal by Tiote under Rule 11.
3 zebras or toonies, including Gouffran, were offside and did not make an active effort to beat the offside trap.
Two of them however were not part of the play and deemed 'passive'.
Gouffran however by DODGING Tiote Shot was ACTIVE & PART of the Play. If Gouffran had stood still & not flinch or dodge Tiote's shot i.e remain 'Passive' the referee might have called it differently.
4 toonies ( Yanga-Mbiwa, Tioté, Cabaye , Sissoko) all match long were thugs (just like NDJ that broke Ben Arfa leg a while back ) should have been sent off.
The Referee was poor.

Lets see how many times our opponents are Lucky in contrast to City's.
Case 1: NCU 0-2 Manchester City Samir Nasri medial collateral ligament injury by Yanga-Mbiwa's studs up wrap around from behind. One of the 3 or 4 Toonatics that were Lucky not to be Red Carded
This post has been edited by CityBluePrint: Jan 14 2014, 01:11 PM
Case 2: An onside Negredo's goal (Manchester City vs Newcastle Aug 19 2013) was disallowed for "offside" Video replay showed that Officials were wrong!
Any case City won the match and were the superior team in both matches (4-0 & 2-0).
Plus the fact that 3 or 4 Toonatics or Hackers (Yanga-Mbiwa, Tioté, Cabaye , Sissoko) are LUCKY not to be red carded & eligible to play in forthcoming match.
What a Goal by our unstoppable midfield Black Beast to break the tie & the backs (no comeback) of the Red Dragons.
City won with another 4 goals without our Black Beauty - Fernandinho.
What a Record - 100th goal by Dzeko with first time goal line technology deployed in PL.
Now to keep our 4 pt margin with our other rival; I can't believe that I will be rooting for Chelsea NOT to defeat MU @ SB. I can't see MU winning unless history repeats i.e. Ivanovic and Torres get sent off with Chichack scoring an offside goal

We'll start with the 'news' that Saint-Etienne vice-president Dominique Rocheteau has rubbished talks of defender Kurt Zouma joining City or Chelsea in January.
Chris Davie of Goal.com reports: "The French club claim the defender has attracted interest from several top sides but are adamant they have not received any offers for the 19-year-old, who is valued at £16.5m.
"Goal reported in November that City had conducted initial talks over a move for the 19-year-old, while the player’s agent has revealed the central defender would be keen on a switch to Chelsea.
“We talk about him now because he has talent,” Rocheteau told beIN Sport.
“It's true, many clubs are watching, it was the case last season, many foreign clubs came to see [him]. But today, there's no [chance] he leaves in the winter transfer window.
“He will remain with us until the end of the season.”
Elsewhere, Sports Direct News are claiming that Gareth Barry may join Italian side Napoli, when his loan deal with Everton expires at the end of the season.
Gareth Barry
According to Richard Flynn: "The Serie A side’s manager, Rafael Benitez, is a huge fan of the England international and tried to sign him for Liverpool during his Anfield tenure.
"The Spaniard missed out on his signature, with Barry instead leaving Aston Villa for City in 2009.
"He has been one of Everton’s most consistent performers this term following a summer loan switch hastened by the knowledge that he was not part of Blues boss Manuel Pellegrini’s plans at the Etihad Stadium.
"His contract will not be renewed and he looks set to be a free agent in the summer, but Barry is permitted to speak to foreign clubs now with a view to penning a pre-contract ahead of a summer move.
"Benitez’s club spies continue to monitor the player’s progress and an offer is in the pipeline. However, Napoli face stiff competition from Turkish giants Galatasaray, whose boss Roberto Mancini rates Barry highly from their time at City.
"The midfield man was an integral part of the Italian’s side during his spell in charge of the club."
Also in the headlines, Ed Malyon of the Mirror suggests that City and Liverpool have been offered the services of Ajax winger Ricardo Kishna.
Writes Malyon: "The 19-year-old is in the middle of contract negotiations with the Amsterdam club as he looks to extend a deal that runs out at the end of the season.
"But the talented wideman would be available for a minimal compensation package if signed by a Premier League club, and with only a few months remaining on his deal there is no barrier to talks with the likes of the Blues or the Anfield giants."
And finally, Manuel Pellegrini has dismissed reports that City are the favourites to sign Southampton's Luke Shaw - that's according to the Mirror's Alex Richards.
Manuel Pellegrini believes that his side were unfortunate not to register at least a point against Chelsea.
Pellegrini’s side went down to the Chilean’s first home Premier League defeat but the City boss believes that an injury list including Fernandinho, Samir Nasri, Javi Garcia and Sergio Aguero contributed heavily to the narrow loss.
“Well I think that of course Fernandinho is an important player for us,” the 60-year old reflected.
“Not only him, you have to add Aguero, Nasri and Javi Garcia – Milner was not 100% so he couldn’t start, Alvaro Negredo wasn’t 100% either.
“That’s too much of an advantage for an important team like Chelsea.
“We lost today against a good team who played well and I thought we deserved at least a draw but they had the luck to win it.
“They scored a beautiful goal, not an easy goal, he hit it from a long way out with the outside of his foot but before their goal we had clear chances to score, so I don’t there was a problem with the way we played.”
Arabic
Pellegrini defended his selection of Martin Demichelis in central midfield under questioning from the assembled journalists in the post-match press conference.
The City boss believes that the Argentine played well but hinted that he had no chance but to field him there – due to the condition of the rest of his squad.
“Jack Rodwell is coming back from injury, Milner’s just worked with us properly for the last day. I think that the only option I had was Demichelis in that position,” Pellegrini explained.
“Fernandinho has a muscle injury, we’ll see tomorrow how long he’ll be out for. I think it’ll be a matter of three or four weeks.
“This game was not a problem of the midfielders. I didn’t make the other two substitutions because I didn’t think we could change the game by doing that.
“For Chelsea it was an essential game. It was important because we could have been six points ahead but we’re just two points behind Arsenal in second.”
What a sweet volley with the outside foot to bend it around the defenders.
That's why all young footballers should be coached to have a repertoire of kicks! Instead of learning or practicing keepie uppies. That leave it to a juggling school of seals or sea lions or circus performers. That's the advice of the day to would be footballers or coaches.
Its nice to know Nasri prays before he starts a match.
The oft-uttered rhetoric is that the Saturday lunchtime kick-off offers the opportunity to heap pressure on rivals with a win.
However, that’s not how Manuel Pellegrini saw it after watching his side record a 4-1 win over Southampton.
As the title race temperature rises from the simmer to the boil, the City boss stated that Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all have the same demand - to win every game regardless of results elsewhere.
“The four teams have the same pressure until the end of the season – they all want to win the title,” Manuel argued. “Everyone knows that they must win – whether they know our result or not.
“We just depend on ourselves until the end of the season – it’s important to continue playing the way we did in the second half because I thought it was a great performance.
“We are enjoying a very good second round of fixtures where the results are much better than the first half.
“We’ve had four wins and one draw in our last five games – maybe we had low performances in the month of February but I think that now the team has come back to its best performances.”
A “game of two halves” is one of football’s most well-worn clichés.
There is no better way to describe this latest match, according to the Chilean, who believes there was too much space between his defence, midfield and attack in a first-half which saw the visitors dominate possession.
However, the City boss was pleased with the quality of defending and the way in which his team took control of the match after the break.
“That was a very different game, in the first half and in the second,” he asserted.
“In the first 45 minutes we didn’t play well because there was a great difference between our lines so we didn’t recover the ball against a team playing very well.
“But in our worst moment, we scored three goals and I don’t remember any clear chances for Southampton in the first half.
“I think that we made an important mistake not to have a small space between the lines, you must do that if you want intense pressing.
“Southampton always had time to turn and create danger in our box. We didn’t recover the ball well but we defended very well. Even though they had a lot of the ball they didn’t create chances.
“It was 3-1 at the break which wasn’t the difference between the teams but we played much better in the second half, we recovered the ball well and made a lot of good chances against a very good team.”
One of the major talking points at half-time was City’s second goal.
From replays, it appeared as though David Silva was offside when he received Edin Dzeko’s backheeled flick but the referee decided to allow play to go on and Samir Nasri put his team ahead.
Pellegrini rubbished claims that this decision was pivotal to the destination of three points and emphasised that City deserved their win.
“I don’t think that the second goal changed the game because we scored a few minutes later,” he said.
“I don’t think the difference was just the second goal, we won 4-1.
“If we had only won the game 1-0 maybe you can say it was an important mistake by the referee.”
Pellegrini’s Southampton counterpart Mauricio Pochettino was disappointed with the officiating from Chris Foy and his assistants.
The Argentine boss believes that the penalty awarded to City in the second minute was harsh and he was distraught that the linesman didn’t spot David Silva in an offside position in the build-up to the home side’s second goal.
“The first 45 minutes, we were superior to a team equipped to win the Premier League,” Pochettino declared.
“To beat a team like City, a team full of world class team, you have to have a perfect day and have the refereeing decisions to be fair and they weren’t today.
“I’ve just seen it [the penalty decision] on TV and I don’t think you can give that after two minutes and their second goal was clearly, two metres, offside.
“That’s the kind of game you play at school and when you get a bad call like that it can affect any player and it did today – it affected our players.”
What is the future of Manuel Pellegrini? Will he begone bygone or stay? When are we going to win the UCL? It's good that we play fast flowing football but it's useless if the defence is not rocksteel solid. Lucky we already win 1 trophy this season, Capital One Cup. Not a bad season after all. CTID
overloaded with strikers better strengthen defense
why need 4 when u always play lone striker system
Rooney can play behind the striker, though I believe he has mellowed. No hope for england to win the world cup. More striker is better, what if one of them get injured? The best club always have a great bench, and to compete in several cups required more players, or else kejar semua apa pun tak dapat.
All this "FFP nonsense" is to prevent outside owners investing legitimately & wisely while allowing the status quo to saddle the clubs with obscene debts.
Petrodollars investment or sucking money from football fans to service debts to financial markets?
Or To wit the beautiful game exemplified by the City's football or the 'cash & carry football to pump the financial markets ala hoof & crosses(record) ' football typified by our noisy neighbor?
Congratulation! It has been good fight throughout the campaign. Enjoyed it very much. Looking forward meeting u guyz again next season.
At least I can be assured that this team will not be using time wasting tactic or parking the bus (not that anything wrong with parking the bus). Just that football fan will be guaranteed of pure football everytime, all the time. Long may the philosophy continue
So far City players have not excelled at the WC. Hart? Kicked the board Silva? missed & does the MARCArena steps out of sync with the Marca lads Milner - Kaki Bangku Dzeko - 0 Aguero - 0
Attrition rate of City's WC players Dzeko, Yaya are gone with the others. Who's left? Zab? VK & Aguero are injured. Hopefully will be fit for the new season as we don't want to repeat last year poor starting season performances.
City are delighted to announce the signing of Argentinian goalkeeper Willy Caballero.
The 32-year-old has joined the club from Malaga on a 3 year deal and will bring a wealth of experience as he joins fellow keepers Joe Hart and Richard Wright.
He is the Club's third signing of the summer, with Fernando and Bacary Sagna also joining City in the past month.
Caballero exclusively told mcfc.co.uk: “I am very happy, and really looking forward to the start of pre-season and performing well to help the team.
“This is a new challenge and a new league for me. I have been doing well in the previous years and my goal is to go on and hopefully perform at the same level for City.
“I know I am coming to a big club with a very good goalkeeper. City already have a great goalkeeper in Joe Hart, but I will try and compete for the no.1 spot. I will do my best in the training sessions.” Caballero began his career in his homeland with Boca Juniors, where he won the Argentine Primera League, Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup in 2003.
He moved to Spain in 2004 and spent seven years with Elche, before linking up with Manuel Pellegrini at Malaga.
The stopper entered the club’s record books by going 480 consecutive minutes without conceding, and gained valuable Champions League experience during his time with the La Liga side.
He revealed: “The most beautiful moments of my career were under Manuel Pellegrini in Malaga, where we achieved big things and we made Malaga’s name known around Europe.
...Willy Caballero on Pellegrini...
“As for my new team-mates, I have a very good relationship with Martin Demichelis, but I’ve never met Pablo Zabaleta and Sergio Aguero. It’s something I’m looking forward to. For me it is very good to have people from Argentina in the squad because I think it will be very helpful.
“I spoke to Roque Santa Cruz and Demichelis, and they told me that Manchester is a very beautiful city and very welcoming, so that will be great for my family and I can’t wait to enjoy it.”
As in food taste, we may like English Fish & Chips (Liverpool fans?), Dutch treat (MU fans), German sausage & sauerkraut (Arsenal flavor of the day) However at City will we have French cuisine? After the Argentinian barbecue or asado fest.
I love French Cuisine. Hence will Mangala & Pogba ( minus Yaya) follow Sagna, Clichy & Nasri? To join the Argentinian CABALlero Definitely Vieira (future City's manager?) have an influence @ City.
Zaba & Dimichelis formed half the PL Champion's (City) Defense Corp.
Likewise for the Argentinian WC team which was UNLUCKY not to win the World Cup. Most of us (even those who favoured Germany to win prior to the final) would agree to that seeing that Argentina could have been 3 goals up in the first half. Why would I say that?
1. In the Playoffs Germany had difficulties in defeating the Algerians in extra time (and if you recall Algeria was denied a penalty) & eked out a win over France from a set piece. 2. In the group match Germany draw with Ghana and barely managed a win over US. 3. Most importantly had an EXTRA DAY of REST & RECUPERATION over Argentina who were battle weary after extra time & PKs over the Dutch.
On the other hand Argentina 4. Had the best Defense in the Tourney ( 0 goals conceded in the playoffs prior to the WC Final) & lost to a Goal when the Best DEFENSE were KNACKERED because of (3) above.
Anyways because of his heroics @ the WC our Zaba has a stadium named after him in his home town
Our City hero attended a ceremony earlier this week in which he was also given the title of “Distinguished Citizen” of Arrecifes.
A Well Deserved CITIZEN, the raison d'être for this posting!

I have seen Aquero in action for Argentina. Winner of Golden Boot & Golden Ball of the U-20 WC in 2007 where he was the MAN among the boys (that included Sergio Ramos, Pique, Pato, Luis Suarez, Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sanchez, Cavani et al). Aquero has a proclivity of scoring vital goals from unlikely angles etc & unexpectedly. I knew then Aquero is a special kind of striker! What a Welcome to Manchester City! This WC unfortunately we, football connoisseurs, were not able to see a fully fit Aquero in action.
There is a certain sine qua non that makes City TWICE a Worthy PL Champion for the last 3 seasons. Its the presence of The Black Beast!!! A MAN CITY MACHINE.
To our noisy neighbours I say keep on drooling
The above 2 Players were part of our juggernaut (that included Nasri, Silva, Dzeko et al) that rolled over our opponents last season. Noting that Teams parked their buses against City. That's a FACT!
Will they this coming season. Stay tune
P.S. Don't just troll over here, try to refute or pose up a decent debate.

MC fan should know how to pronounce your own star. 4 times you write in a single post you refer him as Aquero. It's Aguero not Aquero. Now I really doubt you are a fan

City's warriors remaining @ WC Finals Hope Aguero will have an outstanding game on Sunday.
OK Aguero (spelt correctly in my previous posts. No?) should be right. To be precise its Agüero pronounced as aˈɣweɾo But does it matter? ALL I wanted to say is that Agüero has an uncanny ability & knack to score from unlikely places & angles. I am concerned about his injury which will be a main factor for City this coming season!
Roberto Mancini, our ex-manager, claims that we could have Pogba on a free transfer. Fergie let Pogba go because Pogba was not 'compliant'.
Pellergrini our current manager is enthused about this young kid Kelechi IheaNacho
This goal by Nacho reminds me of a similar Super Mario's goal (one of the brace) at Demolition Derby where City humiliated our noisy neighbours 6-1 @ OT.
At last City has ONE of the 2 Best English Midfielders (Gerrard is the other one) of the last 20 years Lamps (winner of FWA, PFA & EUFA awards like Gerrard) will be CL bound (like Gerrard) this season albeit on loan. Another Holistic Member of a Champion Team
I wonder how many of you City football fans remember why your school mates jumped on the MU bandwagon because of MU winning League Titles or Cups or because of over hyped & overrated MU players? I do. And how many of you remember it brings great satisfaction when City snatched the title from MU to mute the noise from our noisy neighbours.

No I am not talking about the 2011-2012 season. I am talking about the Best, Law & Charlton era. Probably most of the current fans were not even born yet. Their idols were the so called Golden Generation (Beckham, Scholes et al who were a bust & exposed by WC players at International Tourneys

Can't believe Super Mario is back to PL that early! Blimey. Why do we need an Holistic Strategy when we can afford Balotelli?
I will miss his MOTM moment @ Wembley Derby His dua biji that demolished MU @ OT One-Six Derby Lest we forget 1. Super Mario is still young. 2 A proven WC footballer especially @ 2012 Euro Cup. 3. His assist to Aguero to win PL title.
Anyways best wishes to LFC. BR & SG can be a great influence on Super Mario. Super Mario antics & pranks (fireworks, darts etc) are just harmless.

Well at least his Argie mates at City will be there to console/comfort him.

Stoke City registered their first Premier League victory in Manchester as Mame Biram Diouf's fine solo effort stunned the champions. The Senegal international and former United striker raced 70 yards before slotting under Joe Hart. The hosts could have had a late penalty but Yaya Toure was booked for diving. Stoke had lost all 12 previous league matches at the Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford and manager Mark Hughes will savour this victory at his former club.
Oooooo lost at home to your former manager, Stoke's win of the season and Toure booked for diving. Awesome stuff
I thought Mangala was Fernando lol. He showed some good tackles, fast n read the game well. Fuuuh, very nice. Nastasic is a quite person, maybe not suitable to command the back line. He should move to manu and let lvgaal man him up. The manu playrs now have the gangsta mentality, I assume.
Lucky to draw, Gary Cahill left open the space for Lampard to score. CTID
Wow! It augurs well for City when the 2 top PL players are on song! When it comes to crunch time our 2 most important players rise to the occasion!

Next our Powerhouse. That propelled us to our recent PL & FA cup titles that make us the David (& United the Goliath) of Manchester.
Every significant & HISTORICAL landmark victory over our noisy neighbours he was there & the architect the MAN.
Demolition Derby (6-1) -Checked FA Derby's Goal at Wembley - Checked
We could go on about his conrtributions.. Anyways suffice to say in video
We had a formidable trio, VK, Mangala, Fernando, with pace, power, football nous & athletic abilities. Fernando reminds me of Arsenal Gilberto. He is the key to holding our midfield. The deployment of Fernando to augment City defense corp shores up our shaky defense as our left side is susceptible to counterattacks by opponents. This allows our wing backs Zab & Kolarov to join the attacking fray. Yaya can quarterback further upfield which lends itself to him the false 9 role. Hence the sublime goal to unlock AV bus. The indefatigable Milner deserves a special mention. If only he can score rather than squander some shots. Once Nasri returns back from injury we will have a Great Team & Squad.
P.S. In contrast to what City's '2nd tier' Holding Midfielders (NDJ et al) in the recent past. Now we can understand why NDJ is not rated by City & our Football Director.
Let's talk about History. Do you know The Champion Manchester City Football Club (not MUFC) is the Pioneer or Trailblazer for kicking off Manchester Football Heritage or popularizing it?
Aguero is definitely the Top Striker in the PL right now. As I posted before he has an uncanny ability to score goals with his low backlift shot as part of his repertoire of strikes. He reminded me of another character of our past - Shaun Goater who was the Phantasmagoria that haunts the rags & dogs their days especially MU captain Gary Neville then.
The game that stood out the most was the last Derby at Maine Rd. - Nov 9'2002 where The GOAT (greatest of all time) tormentor of MU captain Gary Neville. We had Goater, Schmeichel, Berkovic, Anelka, Sun Jihai et al vanquishing the likes of MU 'legends' that comprise of Scholes, Neville Bros, Nistelrooy, Giggs, Rio etc .
Blast from the Past ... Enjoy
SG had the uncanny ability to score from all parts of his body.
Do you know today is the 3rd Anniversary of the Great Massacre @ OT where Fergie and his 'legendary players' suffered a 6-1 humiliating defeat at the hands of Balotelli's & his mates?
Instead we dwell on Balotelli 45 mins of CL play today & criticized his performance.
All I can say is that Super Mario dua BIJI sunk MU 3 years ago and will forever be in the annals of City's History.
Don't forget that his brace sunk the German BattleShip team @ the 2012 Euros. Likewise his Wink @ the Wembley's Derby
To me he is a genuine WC player but a target of MU red propaganda's machine & its legions of sycophants & easily scapegoat by them!!!
we know you won this morning, but this place has never been noisy before, though they are noisy neighbour. there are only a few of the regular posters here, one of em' is cbp, but whenever he posts, he will talk about united rather than city in the essence, closet fan?

he will come out soon to post something relating to united, rather than this morning's game nor the previous defeat over the weekend. etc etc.... watch this space
To those that are guests here too, Today I want to talk about our Match. It just happens to be our Derby match against our mid table non CL team Noisy Neighbour. What else oxymoron We could easily have score 3 or 4 today with at least a couple of MU players send off. Obviously they learnt a lesson from the Demolition Derby 6-1 trashing during & under their Great Helmsman Chairman Fergie. Specifically, the despicable & disgraceful behaviour of Fellaini for one. Not only did he escape from being send of for kicking the Aguero's achilles (see Graham Poll's article) from behind he even spit (there's video of that) on him. A disgraceful human being. That's what most MUppets 'admire' him for?
City buying success? Not anymore. with FFP. But its our noisy neighbours, non CL & mid table team, heavily into 'credit card debts' & fielding the Most Expensive Squad in PL History! Trying to buy Mid Table Success.
If I recall correctly a number of our noisy neighbours here considered him as 'useless', 'trash' & wanted him gone. Now they 'admire' him!! Fickle minded fans

Aguero could easily have a hattrick!
manU players are truly despicable they've been getting away with shit like this for the past 20years under FA chairman alex ferguson. I really hope fellaini's disgusting act gets investigaged. that definitely warrants a hefty ban. and fat clumsy galavanting rooney deserves to be called a diver worst than barca's busquets and chelsea's hazard. then again things like this gets overlooked because there are too many stupid people in this world who glory hunts supports a very "successful" team and the media dares not say anything bad about manU because they bring in a lot of revenue for the lot.

kamon out. no need to hide in cave. no comments? thot so. just like your performance earlier this morning: absolute silent & clueless. instead of talking about stuff related to you own club, this thread has turned into a manutd hate thread. ABUs having a field day during the weekend i guess.
There is one particular CityBluePrint and his obsession for United, every single post from him is is anti-United, how the shift of power changed from United to City la, this la that la.
I understand that City are trying so hard to emulate and outshine your city rival but lets not forget that City is nothing without your sugar Arab daddy. But as many like to argue, United spends like buying the league now. Yeah I agree but those money were generated from revenues and sponsorships worldwide while City is relying on its owners for cash. No intentions to flame here but sometimes have a good look at yourself about how silly and deluded some of you actually are.
I'm fine with people like ps3 fanboy because some of his posts are sensible and not as silly as some posters here. But as usual la, when City win, that one particular CBP will shout and scream as if City won the UCL (oh never won before eh), but when they lose, he will hide in his cave wishing he never said anything in the first place. Pure class mate.

What a bunch of whiners & childish behaviour these MUst posters clamoring for me to post here. They need to be educated in Football lessons so as to really learn about Football especially English Football. Here goes First of all anybody that is against Manchester United is called an abMU. You only call them an abu if they are against all English FC that included the following
Leeds Utd Scunthorpe Utd Sheffield Utd Man Utd Newcastle Utd West Ham Utd
If you grow up following English Football in the 60s/70s you will know the intense rivalry (Football Hooliganism at its peak) between United (Leeds United) & the Red Devils (MU) separated by 60 kms apart.
Now you know why LU fans really really hate MU fans especially the plastics or glory hunters more than Manchester City Fans So grow up the proper acronym for anybody that is against the red devils is abMU.

Our recent losses to Stoke, Newcastle United & CSKA to some are inexplicable.
We were feared for our attacking prowess & scoring abilities especially when our wingbacks joined in the attacking fray. But now teams have sussed up to our strengths & have found our gaps & our vulnerabilities.
Likewise Our fearsome striker Aguero will be 'shackled' because our opponents viz Gary Neville, ex MU defender, have commented (Pre-Derby)
" To show the Left Leg"
to defend against Aguero from scoring.
This will work most of the time. But it took Clichy (sublime pass from Yaya) with his low cross & MU defenders to allow Aguero to show his left leg to score. MU players, especially its defenders were coached too well.
Against CSKA we have a breakdown in our defense. Contrary to most it was Zabaletta, usually our most reliable defender, who was responsible for the 2nd goal by Doumbia. Zaba, ball watching at the centre of the box, did not guard his right flank or mark Doumbia (Russia PL player of the Year). We had 5 City players defending against 5 CSKA players before Doumbia received his pass to slipstream past Zaba to score on Hart who was poor in coming out & covering his angle.
We were poor in defending the set piece to allow Doumbia to head in the 1st goal. Dimichelis should have guard Doumbria (CSKA most prolific goalscorer). City was underprepared for this Match. CSKA 'sold the dummy' with Doumbria celebrating his goal by sucking on a baby soother a mummy's arti-titi or 'dummy'.
Above are Food for thought
The behaviour of some MUST posters here are infantile (bising bising) at times. They need to be patient. Thjey remind me of my kids/grandkids with their incessant crying & wailing (bising bising) to be to be fed instantly because they are hungry.
Now end of this brief lecture.

What're you talking about? Chelsea completely outclassed Liverpool, played them off the park. It's a fair result in the end, nobody's complaining. Shouldn't you look at your own results first? Speaking of luck, QPR were unlucky to just end up with 1 point. City has been out of it without Silva and Kompany, Austin tore them apart on more than one occasion. In the end it's Agüero 2-2 QPR. A sign of class, that.

"Sergio Aguero scores goals where he cuts inside and scores with his right foot. I think: why did the defender not show him his left foot?"
Which 'brilliant" football pundit quote the above on the eve of the recent Manchester Derby?.
Clue - Feed the Goat.
Just like the Derby's Goal, Aguero scored, a brace, today with his left.
Aguero could have added more goals to his tally if the Referees were not to deny the Penalties (Derby, CAKA etc) which was clear to everyone!
Why is it our rivals get the Lucky Breaks?
I can understand why Brendan Rodgers is @ the CLEAR penalty denied in LFC loss. Chelsea LUCKY break in getting an extra 2 points over City today.

This is what one of our top City fan Noel Gallagher says about an ex-England player cum football pundit who asked Noel to autographed/signed one of his guitars.
Our ex-City Player Super Mario is recalled to Italy Squad. My best wishes to him, i.e to kick start his season by scoring goals for Italy & hopefully that will augurs well for scoring more for club, given that every other non Balotelli fan (especially ex MU players cum Football pundits) are bashing him.
The very thought of Super Mario City Performances especially @ OT warm the cockles of my heart especially now especially when winter is coming. Brrrr...
City player lacks motivation thats all...they just wina league last season....its hard to motivate ur player when they are still in honeymoon mode...unless SAF able to motivate teams to win back to back EPL title...

A sign of class, that.
Likewise City outclassed QPR. Austin (King Curi Ayam) had 2 goals disallowed correctly by linesman under Rule 11 (offside by a mile) & Rule 16 (Hart to retake goal kick). City had 60% possession, 24 shots with 7 on target whereas QPR had 17 shots with 4 on target. BTW its was BR who complained about Cahill's goaltending. Chelsea was lucky to escape from having to pay the penalty. No?
Whereas Aguero handball was not that clear. Yes?
You want to talk about FAIR. Is it fair for some club to spend 150m while restricting/capping other teams from spending? Especially when the club should pay down its DEBT instead of paying obscene wages (on crocked players like Falcoa & RVP to name a few) & breaking transfer fees for the like of an unproven (not fit enough for LVG) rookie?
You can bring out all the statistics you want, but if you've bothered to watch the match you would realized that your "outclassed" is quite a stretch of a claim. QPR put City under the cosh for periods of time, it could have easily been 3 points for them if not for Agüero. City's defence looked uncertain without Kompany, and the midfield sorely missed Silva. And that is a fact. To take credit away from QPR and claim that your side was better just by quoting statistics? That's quite unbecoming of the Champions of England don't you think? If you want to talk about statistics, how about this? Austin had 4 shots on goal, 1 goal and 1 which led to an own goal. Agüero had 8 shots, 2 of which led to goals. Does that make Austin the better striker? Statistics in football is an afterthought for analysis, what happened on the pitch is what counts.
Leading on from that, 22 full-blooded men governed by an official on the pitch and a few others on the sidelines. Mistakes are bound to happen, but these things even out. Why talk about penalties that might or might not have been given? You might as well throw in shots that might or might not have gone in. Why stop at that, let's talk about the what ifs had Messi signed or whatever.
Not going to go on about FFP, I have no idea why you brought that out. There are more than 4 teams in the league, you know?

OK time to reflect on the City's matches recently during this international break & now my golfing is done for the season. Why has City been underperforming?
Opponents are sussed to our strengths especially our 2 top WC players (Aguero & Yaya)? Our Wingbacks overlapping runs to join the attack leaving gaps behind?
Take the case of Aguero who tho restricted from using his right foot by opponents (ala GN coaching) who allowed him to show his left foot. Aguero scored 3 goals with that. The last one against a poor QPR defense, Aguero turned 4 defenders inside out.
Prior to Aguero's first goal, Yaya had a good curling shot, just missing the goalie's right top corner, which struck Chloe a 5 yo kid. What was her dad doing, not protecting or shielding her daughter next to him?
To answer the question Why has City been underperforming? When opponents like QPR played with more intensity & vigor & out performed City especially at QPR's Loftus RD. ground

Why has City been underperforming? When opponents like QPR played with more intensity & vigor & 'out-performed' City especially at QPR's Loftus RD. Stadium. To answer the question let's check the RELEVANT stats
City had 3 matches (against MU, CSKA & QPR) during this 7 day period Nov 2-Nov 8 while QPR had One (1) i.e. against City to focus on during this period at Home. Does it stand to reason why City looks "FLAT' coming out in the first 10 mins against an opponent well rested, with no CL matches to play?
Yes QPR out-hustled, out energised & outplayed City who was FLAT for the first 10 mins especially trying to beat our offside. We were LUCKY that the Officials made the correct calls especially about Austin 2 disallowed goals & his frequent OFFSIDES.
During the match my mates were excited about QPR's chances & winning. They had proline bets on the outcome However if we remain calm (yes I am talking to City's rivals here) & not still be intoxicated by the exuberance of the Match commentators. Cogitate objectively & come to realization that City still had the CLASS to adapt to win. Especially Yaya' pin point pass to Aguero 2nd goal ala Mangala pass for Aguero's first to bypass QPR hardworking midfielders.
After Aguero's second goal to equalize an own goal by Demichelis my mates were nervous for the last 10 mins as City staged a comeback trying to win.
No City did not outperformed QPR (understandably so if you are cognizant of the 3 City's matches vs QPR's single match to contend with) but the CLASS was there. You can't deny that (CLASS is permanent form is temporary) can you?

As I suggested before Liverpool was unlucky not to salvage a point against Chelsea. It was a clear penalty or 'professional goaltending' by Cahill i.e. IF YOU KNOW FOOTBALL & played competitively just like professional fouls.
Yes Liverpool with the same amount of rest was OUTCLASSED by Chelsea. First 10 mins or so after Liverpool's first goal all of us thought LFC gonna win. To suggest they were played 'off the park' by Chelsea is a bit far fetched considering that Liverpool has 12 shots/4 on target compared to Chelsea 15/4.
Want to know what 'PLAYED OF THE PARK' means?
Not the Derby 6-1 trashing of MU @ OT but the 1-0 win @ Etihad subsequently @ end of April 2012.
MU had almost 0 shot/ 0 on target with a 'slow team FIELDED by a scared Fergie. Now that's OUTCLASSED & played off the park!
Make sure the Football Rhetoric fit the Facts!
The Bottom line is Chelsea got a LUCKY BREAK with an extra 2 points over City. That's not hard to dispute is it
In any sports (NBA, NHL or Football) any sportsman at the tail end of their contract for renewal or extension always pick up their performances and stats to angle for a better contract or transfer fee. Money talks & make them walk the talk.
VK, DS, Nasri, Ak , Dzeko has renewed or extended theirs.
Now for potential players for City .......2c players come to my mind
City serious on Stephen Lichtsteiner this January?
this fella is one of my current favourite flying fullback.
well you're correct
QUOTE
Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner is this morning being linked with a move to City.
The question is, do the champions really need another right-back with Pablo Zabaleta and Bacary Sagna already in situ?
Nonetheless, the Manchester Evening News report: “City are tracking ‘Swiss Express’ Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner.
“The fullback, who is also nicknamed Forrest Gump because of his relentless raiding runs, is out of contract next summer.
“Although he primarily plays at right full back he can play on the left or even in midfield if required.
“Given City’s spending restrictions because of the Financial Fair Play punishment hanging over them, 30-year-old Lichtsteiner could make an attractive short term prospect.
“Club scouts will run the rule over his progress in Serie A to see if he fits the strict criteria required these days to become a Blues first team player.”
The Daily Star suggest City are looking at a target a bit closer to home with Newcastle’s teenage prospect Rolando Aarons allegedly on the radar.
Though the report says Arsenal are perhaps leading the race the Magpies star, they add: “Manchester City and Liverpool have also registered their interest. And Aarons' suitors believe they have been given hope of prising him away from St James' Park.
“The England under-20 wide man has just 18 months left on his current deal.”
Finally, Fernando has told Brazilian journalists that he expects Chelsea’s near-perfect start to the season to hit the rails before long.
The City anchorman’s comments, picked up by Sports Mole, said: ‘We know that the English league is very competitive, with big teams," the Brazilian told members of the media.
‘Of course Chelsea is the team that is best placed and playing better, but we know that all teams within the league fluctuate greatly.
‘We did not start well, we had some difficulties, but we know that at any time Chelsea will also go through these difficulties and then we have to work to stay as close as possible.’"
The Insider: Manchester City roll out red carpet for Messi
The Premier League champions were on a charm offensive last week when the Barcelona star visited their facilities ahead of Argentina's friendly with Portugal at Old Trafford
MANCHESTER CITY ROLL OUT THE RE...BLUE CARPET FOR MESSI
In the week which saw Lionel Messi drop the biggest hint yet that his future may lie away from Barcelona, Manchester City took the opportunity to roll out the red carpet for the Argentina superstar.
Messi was in town for Argentina’s prestige friendly against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal at Old Trafford in midweek which took place after he had sparked a media frenzy by declaring his relationship with Barcelona as “complicated” adding that “I always said that I'd like to stay there forever, but things don't always work out as you want them to”.
Goal understands City have been monitoring Messi’s increasingly fractious rapport with the Catalan giants’ board for the last 18 months with a view to pulling off the most spectacular transfer coup of all time by tempting Messi to the Etihad Stadium.
The Premier League champions took the opportunity to step up their PR charm offensive this week as Messi trained at the club’s Carrington training complex alongside City’s fellow Argentina internationals Sergio Aguero, Martin Demichelis and Pablo Zabaleta.
Messi also visited the soon-to-be-opened Etihad Campus, the £200 million facility complete with 16 pitches and a 7,000 capacity reserve stadium, and was understood to be suitably impressed.
Pointedly, City used footage of Messi embracing Txiki Begiristain, the former Barcelona director of football now employed in the same role at Manchester City, on his arrival as part of an opening montage on the Inside City feature on the club’s online TV channel.
City were fined £50 million by Uefa earlier this year for failing to meet the criteria of Financial Fair play but the club’s money men are confident they still possess the resources required to fund any potential deal.
City believe Messi could be worth as much as £400m in commercial revenue to any club - meaning Uefa's Financial Fair Play rules could easily be met.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are already looking at ways of reducing their current wage bill in order to accommodate Messi’s world record £300,000-a-week salary and would be prepared to let their current top earner Yaya Toure leave in the summer should Messi decide this season will be his last in Barcelona colours.
Toure, who currently earns £230,000-a-week, has been linked with a move away from the club since the summer and earlier this week refused to close the door on a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Clubs around Europe pricked up their ears when Messi gave his revealing interview to Ole this week, and City look set to be at the front of the queue should the bidding process for one of football's biggest icons ever open.
When I first saw him @ The U20 WC I knew He is the One. To Welcome to Manchester.
His uncanny ability to score goals!!!
His hattrick tonight is reminiscent of what I perceived of him as a Natural Goal Scorer.
He is the Real Magician. Conjuring Goals when you least expect. Tonight City was dead & buried until he 'show his left foot' for the 2nd goal. He could have got a penalty (like against QPR for City winning the PL Title) but 'stay up' to score for the 3rd goal.
SG & Lampard are the 2 Greatest Midfielders of the PL era. City is fortunate to have the Greatest Goal Scoring Midfielder of the PL. Lamps (174 goals tally) will soon overtake Thierry Henry's (175) & perhaps Rooney (178) PL Goals. BTW Thierry Henry scored in the PL while under MLS contract. If there is an award for the PL I would give Frank the Golden Boot & SG the Golden Ball awards for the Best PL Midfielders for the last 2 decades. FL & SG are winnersw of the PFA, FWA, UEFA Footballer of the Year. Scholes was never awarded or 'recognized with AWARDS by associations (PFAS, FWA, FA, UEFA) because he was never rated good enough by his peers. If you are wondering....Even Sven Ericsson saw fit to replace him in England's CM with Gerrard & Lamps. Only Sycophantic Writers (read propagandists) & Plastic Fans (i.e. Glory Hunters) argued otherwise.
Hope Lamps stay until February & win titles/Cups plus a cool £6m bonus. Frank is well liked by all fans.
Mourihno is cognizant now of why clubs like City or Chelsea cannot play on the same level conditions under Financial Fair Play Conditions imposed by the Big Bullies (MU, BM, RM & Barca) Protection Racket.
Mourihno: "When football decided to go for FFP it was to put teams in equal conditions to compete. But it is a big protection to the historical, old, big clubs that have a financial structure, a commercial structure, everything in place based on success for years and years. The clubs with new investment cannot quickly put themselves at the same level. Clubs with new owners cannot immediately attack the control of these big clubs."
Indeed JM see the light on Financial Fair Play. An FFP advocate a year ago, he now understands the real winners! Bodoh.
How many of you remember Negredo the Beast? He is a consequence of the FFP imposed on City. City can only select 21 players in CL squad rather than the normal 25 man squad. That's why Negredo was sacrificed &'loan' out.
So now you can understand why the likes of QPR, playing once a week, can out-hustled City playing 3 matches in a 7 day period.
FFP is a Protection Racket imposed by MU, BM, RM & Barca.

3 biji behind striker Rooney? Greatest Goalscoring Midfielder in the PL. SG & FL are the 2 best English midfielders in the PL ever. Both Genuinely rated by peers.
Belong to 1st tier elite BECAUSE THEY ARE Winners of PFA,FWA, UEFA Individual Footballer of the Year awards. Whereas players like Barry, Scholes et al, didn't win any PFA, FWA, are 2ND TIER.
Meanwhile, Mark Ogden of the Telegraph states there are no plans to sign David Villa ahead of his move to New York City FC, insisting: "The former Valencia and Barcelona striker has since made four appearances on loan at Melbourne City - Abu Dhabi's A-League outfit - in order to maintain his fitness ahead of the MLS season, which kicks off in March.
"But although City have benefited hugely from Frank Lampard's presence at the club following his temporary move from New York, which may yet be extended until the end of the season, there are no plans to sign Villa on a similar basis."
less likely David Villa will come

"Five strikers City could target in January" which includes Wilfried Bony, Saido Berahino, Mauro Icardi, Alexandre Lacazette and Edinson Cavani.
They can still catch Chelsea but it might take some work in the transfer window.
Here's five men that could transform their line up in January.
Mario Mandzukic
The Atletico man was today linked with a move to Manchester City.
The Croatia star signed for Atletico in the summer to replace Diego Costa, however with Fernando Torres being considered for a return to Madrid City could cash in.
Wilfried Bony
The Ivory Coast star is the top scorer for the calendar year.
The down side is the African Cup of Nations.
Bony is similar physique to Sergio Aguero but a bit less explosive.
Would be a great purchase but the fact he's missing through January means it's unlikely.
Edinson Cavani
The Uruguay star is itching to leave PSG with issues over his position.
The French club paid around £50m for him so it wouldn't exactly be a cheap option but one that could work.
Karim Benzema
The France star is rumoured to be nearing the exit door at the Bernabeu.
And Benzema would be a top class option for Manuel Pellegrini.
David Villa
If they can get Frank Lampard why not go even further and get David Villa as well.
Would be a stop gap, but a good one.
Villa plays for NYCFC, owned by Man City, so, you know...
he's been sayin that city will save million if the team keep him
so his time is almost up when city is closing deal with bony
but unless bony really come to city after the african cup, i'm not that sure
messi also play hard to catch probably chealsea or city might got him
Messi?if he willing to accept major cut on his wages, sure why not.if not,we dont want him .if u guys get messi and looking for aguero buyer, knock on our door first ok
Yaya Toure will not be forced out of Manchester City, but the club are set to make the midfielder available this summer. Sportsmail revealed earlier this week that the current Barclays Premier League champions will listen to offers for the Ivorian as they look to reshape their squad after a disappointing season. But Toure is determined not to be forced out of the door at the end of the campaign. He is said to be content with life at the Etihad Stadium despite the difficulties and is in no rush to leave.
Raheem Sterling admitted he was delighted to finally become a Manchester City player and says he excited by the prospect of playing alongside new team-mates he describes as ‘world class’.
The 20-year-old agreed a five-year contract with the Blues with the deal becoming a British transfer record for an English player and while setting a new Club record in the process.
“It’s a good feeling and this is really happy time for me and my family,” said Sterling. “I’m just glad it’s all over and done with and I can’t wait to get on the training field.
“The thing that excites me the most is the world class squad we have and knowing we have a team that is capable of winning things year in, year out. The more quality players that are around you, the more quality it brings out in you so I can’t wait to get started and play alongside them.
Sterling, who will wear the No.7 shirt for City, revealed he’d spoken with Joe Hart recently about the Club and that the England keeper had given the Club a glowing reference.
“I spoke to Joe briefly on the last England trip,” he said. “He just told me what a really good football club this is and how nice the fans are – nothing too serious, but it was a bit of a heads up.
“It has been a long journey from QPR and I’d like to thank a few people who have helped me along the way.
“I’d like to thank Rafa Benitez for taking me to Liverpool as a 15 year-old – that was a massive step for me and a new challenge. Also to Kenny Dalglish for showing such faith in me and putting me in at such a young age.
“I want to thank Brendan Rodgers for giving me a chance and an opportunity in the first team, giving me my full debut – against City funnily enough – and giving me a real chance to cement a place in the first team and show the world my talents.
“Finally, I’d also like to thank all the people around me – my mum and sisters, my management team and Aidy Ward for helping me focus and get where I am today. I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone.”
Manchester City are delighted to announce that Nicolas Otamendi has joined the Club on a five-year deal.
The Argentine international follows Raheem Sterling and Fabian Delph to the Etihad Stadium and will wear the no.30 shirt.
Recognised as one of the continent’s best central defenders, Otamendi leaves Valencia where his performances earned him a place in La Liga’s 2014/15 Team of the Season.
In the summer, the 27-year old was a teammate of Sergio Aguero, Martin Demichelis and Pablo Zabaleta as Argentina reached the Copa America final.
Although the Albiceleste were defeated by Chile on penalties, Nicolas was recognised for his excellent form throughout the competition with a place in the Team of the Tournament as his side conceded just three goals in their six games.
Otamendi said: “I am here to give my best, to fight game by game and push City to the highest peaks for as long as possible, and I wish we will be able to win several cups and titles.
"That’s the most important. To be here inside a club that looks so wonderful from the outside is a dream.”
Manager Manuel Pellegrini added: “Nicolas Otamendi was arguably the best defender in La Liga last season and so naturally I’m delighted to have added a player of his quality.
“He is an established international for one of the best nations in world football and I have no doubt that he has the right mentality to fit into a squad where he will find many familiar faces, including Eliaquim and Fernando who he played alongside in Portugal.
“As a footballer, Nicolas has all of the qualities to be a success in the Premier League – he’s strong, he’s excellent in the tackle and he’s very good technically.
“I am sure he will become another Argentine player our fans will enjoy watching.”
As his new manager alluded to, Otamendi’s signing reunites Fernando and Eliaquim Mangala with their former FC Porto teammate.
