About time a new thread smile.gif
Welcome to Manchester
The most important player in City's history

A worthwhile 12 mins to get to know our superstar Aquero and reflect on his striking prowess.
Especially at the tail end of the video
Then you can understand why he is the only ONE, with the special skills & Canny Ability to score highlight goals, that can score at the last min of City's Title Winning Season.

The best player in PL right now.

Class is Permanent.

Why?

In 2007 FIFA U20 WC in Canada, I was there to watch Aguero, Angel di Maria, Gerard Pique, Juan Mata, Suarez, Cavani, Pato, Giovanni dos Santos, Altidore, Freddy Adu et al.

Suarez team was KO by Altidore's team. Suarez & Cavani couldn't do much.

Aguero was the man among the boys winning the Golden ball & Golden Boot of the WC tournament.
Literally he bootstrapped the rest of the Argentina team to win the WC with his goals. From all angles & unexpected areas of the pitch.
Since then I followed him

Now you can understand why my joy overflowed when Aguero came to City. biggrin.gif

Watched the above video again to appreciate this Prodigy.

Every significant & HISTORICAL landmark victory over our noisy neighbours he was there & the architect the MAN.

Demolition Derby (6-1) -Checked
FA Derby's Goal at Wembley - Checked

We could go on about his conrtributions..

Anyways suffice to say in video

Congrats to Yaya Toure for winning his 3rd consecutive Confederation of African Football (CAF) Footballer of the Year Title.

We will never forget how Yaya paved the way for City's winning the FA Cup in recent memory with this iconic moment.

Against the best that our noisy neighbours (Carrick, Scholes, Vidic, VDS et al) can afford.
to garner his 1st CAF Footballer of the Year title.

He is the Best CM in PL right now.

Good Call by Referee (after consulting with Linesman) to DISALLOW the goal by Tiote under Rule 11.

3 zebras or toonies, including Gouffran, were offside and did not make an active effort to beat the offside trap.

Two of them however were not part of the play and deemed 'passive'.

Gouffran however by DODGING Tiote Shot was ACTIVE & PART of the Play. If Gouffran had stood still & not flinch or dodge Tiote's shot i.e remain 'Passive' the referee might have called it differently.

4 toonies ( Yanga-Mbiwa, Tioté, Cabaye , Sissoko) all match long were thugs (just like NDJ that broke Ben Arfa leg a while back ) should have been sent off.

The Referee was poor.

Lets see how many times our opponents are Lucky in contrast to City's.

Case 1: NCU 0-2 Manchester City
Samir Nasri medial collateral ligament injury by Yanga-Mbiwa's studs up wrap around from behind. One of the 3 or 4 Toonatics that were Lucky not to be Red Carded

Case 2: An onside Negredo's goal (Manchester City vs Newcastle Aug 19 2013) was disallowed for "offside" Video replay showed that Officials were wrong!

Any case City won the match and were the superior team in both matches (4-0 & 2-0).

Plus the fact that 3 or 4 Toonatics or Hackers (Yanga-Mbiwa, Tioté, Cabaye , Sissoko) are LUCKY not to be red carded & eligible to play in forthcoming match.

What a Goal by our unstoppable midfield Black Beast to break the tie & the backs (no comeback) of the Red Dragons.

City won with another 4 goals without our Black Beauty - Fernandinho.

What a Record - 100th goal by Dzeko with first time goal line technology deployed in PL.

Now to keep our 4 pt margin with our other rival;
I can't believe that I will be rooting for Chelsea NOT to defeat MU @ SB.
I can't see MU winning unless history repeats i.e. Ivanovic and Torres get sent off with Chichack scoring an offside goal wink.gif

How about this Winning Goal by Samir Nasri
user posted image

What a sweet volley with the outside foot to bend it around the defenders.

That's why all young footballers should be coached to have a repertoire of kicks!
Instead of learning or practicing keepie uppies. That leave it to a juggling school of seals or sea lions or circus performers.
That's the advice of the day to would be footballers or coaches.

Its nice to know Nasri prays before he starts a match.

Would he be considered for Brazil national team if he was not playing for City?

City is in Forbes "Top 10 List of Most Valuable Clubs"

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ar-25-cent.html

Ahead even of AC Milan, Juventus & Liverpool.

City's Owner has invested wisely?
In infrastructure, academy (even our rivals sent their kids to it) etc.

Just imagine if City wins the 2nd PL title. will City be worth more? In top 5?

On the other hand lets see Forbes debt list? Five clubs with the highest debt as a percentage of club value

http://talksport.com/magazine/features/130...alue-195888?p=3

All this "FFP nonsense" is to prevent outside owners investing legitimately & wisely while allowing the status quo to saddle the clubs with obscene debts.

Petrodollars investment or sucking money from football fans to service debts to financial markets?

Or To wit the beautiful game exemplified by the City's football or the 'cash & carry football to pump the financial markets ala hoof & crosses(record) ' football typified by our noisy neighbor? hmm.gif

Last night I thought I had a nightmare.

This was the 'nightmare' scenario

City lost to WHU in the dying minutes of this season
& Liverpool didn't lose to NCU

But then I woke up (in my dream) to see City crowned Champions.

How come? Something wrong? shakehead.gif

Bump this thread.

So far City players have not excelled at the WC.
Hart? Kicked the board
Silva? missed & does the MARCArena steps out of sync with the Marca lads
Milner - Kaki Bangku
Dzeko - 0
Aguero - 0

Others?

Attrition rate of City's WC players
Dzeko, Yaya are gone with the others. Who's left?
Zab?
VK & Aguero are injured.
Hopefully will be fit for the new season as we don't want to repeat last year poor starting season performances.
