Mangala is still improving, hopefully he does for both City and France.

Yeah so many player afraid to lose their places

There are already a big bunch knowing that they will not be around once Pep arrives, so I think that is affecting the team overall. Like how ESPN reported and we can't deny, the current City squad isn't with-in Pep's quality. And there are too many aging players too, plus lack of youth pushing into the first team.

I have yet to see Patrick Roberts in action. There so quite a few youth prospects we could bring into the senior squad, plus only buying 2-3 stars to fill each department.

They cannot be judged based on just 1 game, the sync and understanding requires youth to be playing regularly with the senior players, training doesn't affect much but playing in a real game does.

So even if the manager does not start any youth in the game, it would be better that he uses them at the last quarter of the game to gain experience. Right now Pellegrini is only utilizing Iheanacho upfront giving more game time than any other.

Our backs really need a overhaul. The reason we fail greatly at the back is because of the lack of communication and individual understanding

Another problem our defense is having is lack of communication, Otemendi and Mangala they don't speak English fluently which could too affect the commands being thrown out, especially from Hart, there is no room for translations.

That is the issue with our foreign contingent, they don't know English! It's a very important tool in the game. I'm surprised at how the management is not tackling this, the guys need to be enrolled in classes maybe slot in reruns of "Mind your language" wink.gif

Because if they understood the language better they have a chance of knowing what the opponents are discussing as well.

He speaks in Argentinian but he kinda understands what the person is asking him about.. hmm.gif  Nervous to speak in English, perhaps? laugh.gif

Well the videos are edited most of the time so you won't get to see whats actually happening BTS. Usually there is a personal translator beside them in case the questions posted are too deep for understanding.

I would rather keep Delph and unleash his potential in MF, plus we have tons of back up that are rarely used in this department so I'd say save the money and spent it on re-in forcing the defense.

Buying a keeper would be a good move since Hart is prone to inconsistency, I'm not saving that he is bad but he definitely needs competition and with Cabby aging I think a young lad like Ter Stegen would be a good fix.

I do not think that Delph will go since he just joined and he is home grown, we are also lacking in this area. Plus I see there are many more players that are cheaper than Pogba and could easily be as good as him. We should start spending wisely, and if Pep has control over the transfers I believe he will do just that.

The only way for city to win is to maintain their style of play in UCL, high work rate, composed passing and good defending.

not bad the city is marching 4 top 3 or even top 2 finish laugh.gif rclxms.gif

Let's see what happens to our next match at St. James Park. I'm eager to see Rafa's Newscastle play against us, they did very well against Swansea over the weekened.

After Arsenal's draw yesterday I believe that finishing Top 3 would be now possible provided we maintain the winning momentum. Lets not forget we have very tight fixtures as the curtain draws to closure.

good news for yaya cause no pogba to replace him laugh.gif

Not really, remember it was Pep that sold Yaya off when he was in-charge at Barca and this could very be the same when he arrives at the Etihad. Plus with Gundogan's transfer nearing I think it's time up for Yaya.

don't tell me that he's still got grudge with yaya sad.gif , if that happens well good luck to him in serie A
*
About grudge, I don't know but IMO Yaya's has already exceeded his peak and his performance is slowly starting to decline (we witness that throughout the season) and will been seen as a surplus & Pep tend to prefer players with high work rate.

Yaya wants to stay in the PL so I think mid table clubs would benefit from our sale.
