QUOTE(SweetieClare @ Jun 12 2010, 02:30 PM) You can buy it in Guardian. However, the PanOxyl BP gel is available under 2.5% and 5%. I went to Caring Pharmacy and they only have 5%. Do look for the one with 2.5% so that it won't aggrevate your skin. I was talking to one of the pharmacists, she told me BP 5% is stronger but the effect is faster. But my opinion is start low to test your skin adaptation. So, 2.5% is the wise choice. I've started using 2.5% last night and today is my 2nd application. Good luck to you. TQ ;-)

Neutrogena has stopped their On-the-Spot products in Malaysia, thus we have to seek for alternative. Which, we discovered Panoxyl. To me, Panoxyl works better compared to Neutrogena version as it did not leave the white residue after the application.
Its a transparent(clear) gel base. Most importantly, at almost the same pricing, you get more from Panoxyl vis-a-vis Neutrogena.

My skin condition was ok before this until about 6 months ago when i switched my skin care products to an organic range. The sales girl said that the moisturizer was supposed to detox and renew cells.
What happened next was that i found my forehead started to suffer from mild acne. I used to have a few pimples a week before my period comes, but then nothing like what im having now.
There are alot of small little tiny pimples with no heads at my forehead. Will this regime help? I think my case is not too serious, just afraid that this regime will be too dry for my skin.
Pls advice.... =)

Found this site very useful: http://www.acnetreatmentforum.com/Acne Medicine - Salicylic AcidThis is a super effective acne medicine. It can really help to clean your skin up. Also, I have noticed it is kind of non inflammatory which is really important and often overlooked by many big anti spot brands which is annoying. I recommend getting the purest form you can get your hands on, which will be from a doctor. Can found this "Salicylic Acid" at most facial cleanser and toner.. I bought toner that contains Salicylic Acid at Watson ^^ Hope it helps.

Dear All, Do you know where to get 100% pure jojoba oil? This is to prevent any dryness and flakiness of the skin after applying Benzoyl Peroxide. Normally, the dryness and flakiness will go away after 2 to 3 weeks, as and when the skin get used or 'familiarised' to the product. But jojoba oil is to help the skin to become not flaky and dry. The usage is simple, before applying moisturiser (please use oil-free) put in three drops of jojoba oil and apply together with the moisturiser. That's the trick. However, I've read some of the comments from Dan Kern's website, saying that not all skin can accept jojoba oil because it's oil based though it's off natural oil.

I recommend getting the purest form you can get your hands on, which will be from a doctor. Can found this "Salicylic Acid" at most facial cleanser and toner.. I bought toner that contains Salicylic Acid at Watson ^^ Hope it helps. Salicylic acid (SA) is only effective against mild forms of acne. For ppl suffering from moderate to severe forms of acne, SA doesn't really help much and only dries up the skin. Contrary to what u posted, SA is not overlooked by many brands and instead it is very common in cleansers, astringents and moisturizers. Almost every brand that has an oil control/anti acne line will have a product containing SA. Getting the purest/strongest form of SA is dangerous and not to be taken lightly. That is why most brands only offer SA in 2% concentrations. Anything more and it will cause severe skin irritation. If u r looking for a good pure form of SA that is safe, try using an aspirin mask. It is purer in concentration den those available in most products and its cheap too. SA has been used in anti acne products for decades and that is why some brands are looking at other options instead of SA to combat acne. Based on my personal experience, SA doesn't do much and stuff like benzoyl peroxide, retinol and tea tree oil are more effective.

Hi jinyee, is it true that it's normal to experience breakouts if ur sticking to a skincare regime for a long time, the suddenly switch to a new one? They said u get breakouts because ur skin is still adjusting itself to the new products, and u just need to stick to it and give it time? Pls advice.
