Jinyee, now im using 1-2-3 neutrogena range
1. liquid cleanser
2. Toner
3. moisturizer

i bought toner for acne prone skin, fighting problem skin, it is in yellowish colour, 150ML

but i just realize neutogena have so many type of toner cry.gif
am i bought the right toner fot my skin?
i saw got toner in blue botle, white botle,etc...confused here
*
Well, I would not advise people using toner with alcohol. If the alcohol amount is high, it would not be called as toner, it is astringent. Anyway, the blue bottle of Neutrogena range can be used as part of the regimen - Neutrogena alcohol-free toner. However, this toner might contain irritants as it has fragrance on it. So, its up to you whether you gonna choose it. Acne prone toner might contains salicylic acid and a bit alcohol, so I would not advise for that. For me, I would recommend one to use SK-II facial essence as toner. Pour a little amount, then pat it on your skin. I ONLY recommend SK-II's facial treatment essence as their other products simply did not manage to convince me.

QUOTE(mikimiki @ Aug 21 2006, 01:14 PM)
yeah... me too.. confusing when go to Neutrogena counter....

JinYee, found that there are 2 types of Neutrogena® Oil-Free Moisture SPF 15 (Untinted & Sheer Tint). Which one is recommended? Regarding to the Cleanser, wondering that any comments on Neutrogena's Cleanser? Neutrogena's Cleanser vs Cetaphil, which one is better?

Fyi, I have oily-not sensitive skin.
*
For morning session, should your job is executed more in air-cond environment, then you should use Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture SPF15, the untinted version will do. Otherwise if you are working in a non air-conditioned environment, no moisturizer is required.

Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser is on the top of my list, following by Liquid Neutrogena. That's all, there aren't third cleanser in my list. If you prefer Neutrogena, go for the fragrance free version of Liquid Neutrogena( anyway its more economical); should you prefer Cetaphil( it would not lather compared to Liquid Neu.), then Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser will suits u.

Elicina will gradually fade the scar should you intend to try it.
Read more about it on its official website.

As I mentioned, follow the regimen, Cetaphil+Neutrogena on-the-spot, you will prevent acne from its beginning, which is blackhead and whitehead.

Night time, ok, I recommend either Neutrogena sensitive skin moisturizer or Cetaphil's moisturizer. Anyway, you will find hard to obtain the Cetaphil one in Malaysia, so you might go for Neutrogena one. In addition, should you think that you intend to get something that is lighter, you might go for QV lotion.

Mask should be used once or twice per week. For daily, cleanser, moisturizer are sufficient. You may add in toner if you want.

Well, Clinique clarifying lotion and the anti blemish are not that good. Anyway, I would really prefer that you build a solid foundation for your skin and itself will prevent from getting acne. I really did not recommend on using on-the-counter product as it might either overdry your skin or it might cause another flareups.

Should avoid mercury, its common sense. Well, if possible, stop that.

If it only turns red due to exposure to sun, then its ok. Your blood capilary( I dunno whether I spelled it correctly) is near to your skin and you might be too fair, so this kind of situation occurs. No worry. If its rosacea, your skin will peel.

Perhaps it might be the side effect of attaining roaccutane. You should know the side effect. Browse through google and you will find some.

Well, what is allantoin actually? Its a moisturizing properties. Mederma does not suit you, but how would you know that its was due to allantoin? Sometimes you are not suitable for some products is because one or two of their main ingredients irritate your skin. For you case, I believe it should be allium cepa in Mederma.

You can use Elicina. It uses the natural ingredient to heal and it might take longer period. If you expect faster result, can go for dermabrasion or laser. There's clinic in Jln Imbi providing the service.

I hope you understand the side effect the moment you proceed for roaccutane. Good luck!

Yup, its a little bit costly and you need to purchase it online. It will be shipped on Chile to Malaysia. If I am not mistaken, the total cost will be about RM200 something like that. However, for usage on face only ( it can be applied to any aprt of the body with scars), it will last 3+ months. I tried it before and its not a bad product anyway. You can have a try.

Mederma sucks. Its irritating the skin.

Yup, you can use it for your face as well. For mask, go for Neutrogena Moisturizing mask. Toner is not necessary for you.
