Hi, just wondering

1)Pendapatan berkanun penggajian, should we enter the 'jumlah'(after section C) on the EA form or just the 'gaji kasar'?

Hi all, what does this term 'Complete medical examination' mean exactly? Does it include basic health screening? And if the cost can be claimed from company, is it entitled to file that amount in as well? Thanks

You need to register and get a file no. and submit your tax return every year. Taxed or not will depend on your allowable relief.

Thanks sifu. Actually I've registered tax no last year and got the EA form from my employer already.

So I just went to this screen https://ez.hasil.gov.my/CI/PermohonanNoPin.aspx to get my PIN number since it's my first time. I entered my IC no, tax no, and email but this pops up: "Alamat e-Mel yang berdaftar dengan LHDNM tidak wujud. Sila ke cawangan LHDNM yang berdekatan untuk mendaftarkan alamat e-Mel."

So really have to go to the branch just to register e-Mel ar? So mafan one...

For employment, what would be the minimum income
for a person to be chargeable for tax?

It means full medical checkup. Not just partial/simple/basic. Those labs will know how to differentiate.

I'm not sure if you can claim for that if your company has reimbursed you.

Noted on that, thanks.

Alright, say I have been paying tax every year, but was retrenched last year.
Unable to find jobs since.

Question; do I need to declare my income for last year?
Or I do not have to, considering that I am unemployed?

Can someone please explain in which situation i'm eligigble for this relief:-

15. Suami/Isteri/Bayaran alimoni kepada bekas isteri - 3,000 (Terhad)

i'm doing separate assesment with my wife.

I thought if I do joint assessment then entitle to this relief no matter how much your spouse's income, no? But when spouse's income above rm3000, better to do separate assessment right?

I am doing joint assessment, but when I enter 0 income for my spouse d System won't accept unless I key in 1. Can't have 0 income?

You can only claim if your wife does not work at all.
If working, put under join/separate assessment will resulting to a love letter(tried before last time).
But once you put in this, no matter how they will call you and start audit to find out are you cheating them or not.
If you have nothing to hide, then can put in(your wife not working), else they will dig past 7 years record and if you can't produce the original receipt(mine some are lost), they will back calculate and you have to pay for that.
