He is not suitable with our game play. He will slow down the attack, but if he can score goal with each opportunity given, why not. smile.gif
Btw i am waiting to see PCY at least on the bench. Or Chuba Akpom instead?

berbatov not suitable la... during his MU times also malas kejar bola. arsenal hight-tempo/pace
*
Berbatov is a good goal-poacher and can hold the ball and feed the ball quite well. I cant see we can get high quality striker during January transfer window, so getting Berbatov for a 1-yr deal is probably the option we can get, unless we can also try for Bony or Rodriguez...if we try to play with PCY and Akpom for the tricky 2 months ahead is rather risky..

and there is still the Henry option.. tongue.gif tongue.gif tongue.gif

Why do we always have the worst luck every single season. Our fixtures list for February - March is horrendous, horrible, scary. And now Walcott is out for the rest of the season in such a crucial period for us. I'm starting to feel everyone is against us, the FA, luck, fate, whatever, etc. sad.gif

bendy is out.. giroud might still be injured. poldi just came back, and he is not good as lone striker so far at the last game we saw him playing at that position. Well he might improve or suit himself to that position in our team, but it is something we cannot gamble. we really need a finisher.
*
Bendy is only out for a month. Giroud is already back just that he was ill during the Spurs match.

It is unfair to judge Poldi just on that match IMO. As you said yourself he just came back so pretty unfair to write him off as an "ineffective" lone striker just based on that game. He will only get better as he gains fitness.

Whereas the number of out and out true wingers that we have? Minus Theo now you get a big fat zero. We have no pace and width to stretch the play without Theo and it will show when teams park the bus.

At the moment Gnabry looks really promising and able to fill the void for the time being but you don't expect him to play in every game from now and score the odd goal/assist per game. I know the OX is on the mend and on the way back but it will take a bit more time for him to get back in the groove.

so giroud is out, nik ben is out, poldi can't play as good in the center, walcott is out for 6 freakin months, we have some money, spend it on a great striker, win the league.

i only follow the EPL, who knows of a striker who's playing really well but is playing for a team with goals lesser than us? our realistic target for this season is the EPL, UCL is a tough competition and we have bad history with it, and we drew freakin bayern.

would diego costa consider Arsenal an upgrade from Atletico? i dont think so, in the spanish la liga he leads his team against two other teams that is led by cristiano ronaldo and lionel messi, if he manages to achieve something with atleti this season he'll consider that a victory against the two great players. of course if he's with us he'll be against 2 teams that are led by luis suarez and sergio aguero, very good players too. if we are making a successful bid for him i think it will ultimately come down to the Arsene Wenger factor, the Mesut Ozil factor and the $$$ factor.

are there any other good strikers in other leagues apart from jackson martinez? wilfried bony is a disappointment considering he was a league top scorer last season

Good thing it happened in January. The transfer window is open now, Arsene. There shouldn't be any excuses. Go out and buy a forward. Its a must, as a fans.. i dont like to see any of our player get injured. Will miss Theo pace.

ebay does have a few lying around... not cheap though.
it's easier to find the jockey jersey though... obviously not as popular as the brilliant home kit, which is one of my favourites.

try your luck. bids are still low... for now.
