Podolski - 6 appearances 3 goals, 8 shots... he needs game time IMO.

Strengths:
The versatile Podolski boasts real pace and he has shown time and again on the international stage that he has the composure and quality required of any top striker. A cultured finisher, Podolski also has a creative streak and links up well with his team-mates.

Weaknesses:
His inability to perform to a consistently high standard on the domestic scene is a real concern and he lacks the out-and-out brilliance and unique quality of a Fernando Torres or Cristiano Ronaldo.

Career high:
Being named the Best Young Player at the 2006 World Cup finals after his three goals helped Germany reach the semi-finals. Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Cesc Fabregas were also nominated for the award.

Career low:
A second relegation for Cologne in 2006, despite scoring 12 goals in 32 games, which forced him to leave his first professional club.

Style:
Pacy, explosive, prolific, a livewire forward.

8 years without a trophy is a shame...only to bystanders and naysayers.

The 1 thing that kept Arsenal and it's fans alive is BELIEVE.

BELIEVE is what makes impossible, possible.

This is THE NEW ERA OF ARSENAL.

+1 to gooners who kept believing and made things came alive. If Ozil is confident of winning the title for Arsenal, why should you stop believing?
