

XP-90C, what happen wit my cooler

i just change my P4 2.6c to this new AMD 3500+ .. just what to know it this normal? AMD3500+ wit Xp90C max load temp-52c .did't OVERCLOCK le . last time i using p4 2.6c oc 3.25 the max load temp only 51c.. is there amd3500+ more hot then my old 2.6c?? or what?

It depends on what fan he is using with the heatsink.

try you change the fan and see. or better else use back the stock heat sink and compare

Easy thing, get DFI mobo..and u see your temp drop by around 8-10c. Perhaps that make u happier.

Check your heatsink base...
Maybe it's already turning to brownish... Did you use themal paste? |

if i were to use thermaltake smart fan, i wouldn't use the thermo probe. prefer using the fan controller instead

then try running at max and see if the result is the same or not. copper hs needs alot of cfm to cool down.

get a strong fan .. afaik copper cooler need strong fan to kewl it down .. correct me if im wrong ..
