Check your heatsink base...
Maybe it's already turning to brownish...

Did you use themal paste?  blink.gif
*
yes i have using themal paste.. cooler master 1.. http://www.coolermaster.com/index.php?LT=e...r_title=HTK-001
QUOTE(soulfly @ Jul 5 2006, 05:49 PM)
if i were to use thermaltake smart fan, i wouldn't use the thermo probe. prefer using the fan controller instead
*
yap i uisng the fan controller.. speed set at around 2300rpm... more then this .. can't tahan the fan sound..

have u ever try touch ur heatsink wit ur fingers???

nope its not a joke... try it... if its around 50C or more... ur finger cant hold it... if u feel warm... its most likely below 50C...

*the reason is... there a some mobo wit stupid temp sensor even u have updated wit the latest bios...  doh.gif

ps:beware if ur psu/pc got electric leakage... im not responsible if u got electric shock...  whistling.gif

for thermal paste, AS5 needed some time to cure down, that's when you get the best of it.

what really matter is the heatsink. don't expect 5'C difference with just changing thermal paste.

ok i wait n see

QUOTE(lichyetan @ Aug 8 2006, 07:52 PM)
could be ur mobo, i usung biostar with my watercooling kit which contain dual fan radiator and apogee block and d5 pump yet still the temp for my opty 144 after oc 50c at load using speedfan4.28, but 44c using core temp to take readings... probaly mobo sensors.. plus i heard tht dfi report lower temp using smartguardian, i recommend u core temp or speedfan 4.29 to take the readings cause speedfan 4.29 gt one reading call core which is same as core temp...
*
mm.. i try it..

QUOTE(a_yu_volution @ Aug 8 2006, 08:58 PM)
errr...stupid question...but ur air flow chun o not???

if too many fan but cacat airflow oso can kacao one...

to test...try open ur case and run n see...then slowly adjust ur intake and exhaust flow...

btw did u apply the right usage of AS5?...the rice grain cliche is the most practiced...
*
my air flow sure damn good liau... depan 1=120mm & 1= 80mm fan.. belakang 1= 120mm .. bawah 2= 80mm fan no place to put fan anymore...
n yap i apply right liau....

n want to ask in market have fake AC5 ?
