on the clarity..i am not sure is it due to my source is from X3...i didnt have much time to test x5 with my e12diy (buf634+muses01)...

now i am a bit puzzle what if i use my x5 as source...

my x5 already pass to the next reviewer...now i am back to dx50 and x3...

Read the review on HiFi, would u say x5 have the same similar sound signature as x3, mid based warm sound? or on which point do they contrast if theres any ( without the amp on x3 u did mentioned more music details on x5)

nope, the signature is different between the X3 and X5

for me, x5 is dead flat sound signature, do what headphone you put it in, it's the headphone character, not the player. I love the line out though

Hi, noobandroid How do you fair between X5 and DX50?
In terms of SQ, GUI navigation & other stuff such as storage expansion (SD card).
Because the local Jaben does not have demo unit for FiiO so I guess I have to depends on written review to "compare"... *.*;;

the x5 GUI reminds me of a touch of ipods, using the navigation wheel, but the buttons are in somewhat "unusual" placements

i havent tried DX50 though

unless you are into dead flat SQ, glassy clean sound, the DX50 "might" be an alternative
