Hi bro bent. I jail broken my device and installed virtual home already. Any more great tweaks to intro?

I found out that the double taps for virtual home is very hard to be triggered.

you dont remove the jailbreak just by factory erase the phone.

you need a restore by itunes
*
Thanks bro. Did just that and it worked instantly.

QUOTE(nas @ Nov 7 2014, 07:15 AM)
I believe you can't do that in a jail broken phone. You have to do a proper restore from iTunes.
*
No I didn't want to remove the jailbreak.. Just trying to remove all the data cause he wanted it jailbroken and like the theme etc that I bought.

Oh just got an iPhone 6. Tempted to jailbreak the phone but my 5s was always crashing during a phone call. But I did update from 8.0.1 to 8.1 OTA so yeah that doesn't help. Still thinking whether I should jailbreak or not icon_question.gif

You can always backup your important data(s) before proceed with jailbreak
Btw, since Apple still signing the 8.1, its not harm to try it

Your phone crash might due to conflict/ unstable tweaks

There's another app/tweak called fakeclockup which is similar to speed intensifier which really speeds up the experience of your phone.

Other nice tweaks/app that I'm running on my phone:

1. Cylinder - alternative free to Barrel
2. CCSettings - include toggles like mobile data, mute, etc. on the Control Center
3. Classic Dock - modify the look of your dock
4. Speed Intensifier and FakeClockUp - speed up the animations on your phone
5. HideMe8 - full control to hide settings on your phone
6. Mobius - all you to scroll continuously on your home screen
7. Virtual Home - setup your touch id to perform certain tasks
8. Winterboard - system-wide theming
9. Zeppelin - allow you to change the icon of your carrier

The virtual home is rather finicky when set to double tap. My current setup is single tap to go to home and tap and hold to sleep. Double tap for multi tasking sometimes work but I noticed you have to tap it consistently to get the desired effect.

I'm on 8.1 btw.

Hi,

After reading Benny take on Virtual Home, I proceed to JB using Pangu 1.2 but I forgot to turn off the Passcode Lock, JB failed and later I found out that I had an Exchange Mail that requires a profile so Passcode lock cannot be turn off. Not much time to delete the mail and disable the profile. So I just delete the pangunew apps that I think was use to deliver the payload. I will just defer the JB for now. Not sure if this will have any issue as I had not done a restore.

Update ...

Deleted my Corporate Exchange Mail then I can turn off the Passcode Lock. Still Jailbreak failed.
Backup up phone.
Do iTune Restore and Restore from Backup.
Run Pangu and Jailbreak Successfull rclxm9.gif
Run Cydia and install Virtual Home.

Benny,

I notice that battery drain was a little more, maybe due to heavy used of the Virtual Home and the Vibrate this morning. I turn the vibrate as it says it save some battery.
