hey guys I'm using an ip6+ and I'm still in a dilemma if I should jailbreak it. I'm not really an app user, pretty much uses only whatsapp/facebook/instagram, nothing else. I used to jailbreak my ip3gs/ip4/ip5 but didn't really utilize jailbreak as much. But recently there are a few things caught my attention, i.e Activator/ Knock and etc.

Not sure if its worth to Jailbreak it just for those few apps, thoughts?

Also does it affect warranty on the device after jailbreaking it?

If you jailbreak & later you facing issue regarding warranty, be sure to restore it to original state else they wont accepting jailbroken device

Simple as that..

thanks bro, looks like its a must try since there's no harm doing so smile.gif

another question, if I JB it and only install a few useful (to me) apps like activator and probably a few springboard apps, will it lead to any virus infection on my device? (sorry for the noob question) smile.gif

Install only from trusted repos. And if you installed SSH, better change the default password.

FYI, if not mistaken, few apps will detect you are jailbroken and won't allow certain use of functions. Don't know if banking apps blocks jailbreak but last time GSC did block certain payment type.

I think its my side problem. Got that firmware not compatible error whenever I tried the "shift" restore. Reinstalling iTunes and try again later
