Hi ALL,

I am planning to visit Busan early June'14. Intends to book airasiago's offer for 3 pax as the price seems attractive. Furthermore, some of the hotels' location is good and near to subway station . Would like to ask those who booked airasiago's offer before encounter any problems before? Thanks for sharing.

For hotels, you may try expedia.com.my or hotels.com.
I do book Hotel Biz Jogno, Insadong via Airasiago when they have 10% promo but I find the rate in expedia is a bit cheaper. Both also with free cancellation. I just booked Angel Hotel in Busan from exepdia.com.my with free cancellation too. The rates I have booked is cheaper than the guesthouses that I have enquired. Can check out the reviews in tripadvisor/agoda/booking.com

I thought airasiago don't offer free cancellation?

Anyway, the reason I would like to consider airasiago is because the total costs will be cheaper compared to if I were to purchase separately. I am also thinking of booking Angel hotel or Pusaninn motel as both also offer good price and with customers' feedbacks.

Only selected hotel offer free cancellation.

I have not tried booking flight plus hotel together via airasiago. I got my tickets during recent sales in feb, travelling end nov, rm269/way/pax seoul n busan, flight only.

My rates were better than money exchange counter back in Oct 2013. Not sure if it's the case for now.

I'm wondering if anyone can suggest what should I do and where to go in Busan, Incheon and Seoul?

I'm traveling alone from 21-29th March, will land in Incheon 21 March early morning and then take KTX at 12pm to Busan, initially I thought I can take KTX straight from Incheon airport but I guess its not available yet. Will spend 3 nights in Busan staying at Beomil area, then head back to Incheon staying near Bupyeong.

Can I do a day tour to Jeju island from Busan?
Any suggestion where to go what to do in Seoul, Incheon and Busan, or even the best reasonably priced shopping area for clothes for men, accessories, interesting stuffs?

Thanks!

Just came back from Seoul last week. It was my 3rd time backpacking to South Korea. It's awesome to go there without a tour guide. The weather... I really love it. It's still cold as the daily temperature is between 0 to 10 degrees. If you walk outside and suddenly felt smokes came out of your mouth... that is 0 degrees and below. hehe. We stayed at Hongdae area as it is more convenience to transfer to the airport directly.

The only thing that we felt frustrated was didn't had a chance to go for snow sledding as the nearby place (close to Seoul) is no longer opened.

And the best part, we nearly missed our return flight to KL and we had 29kg excess baggage to pay at the Incheon airport. That is KRW609,000. Yeah, nuts. Shopping like crazy. We got served T________T

You can try Zaza Backpackers Guesthouse and Namsan Guesthouse.
Both of them are close to each other and definitely in Myeondong area.

guys...I'm planning to go to Seoul and Jeju next month for about 10 days. My Itinerary consist mostly of sightseeing and very little shopping. Will 1 million won be enough? This amount does not cover flight and accommodation.

Appreciate your suggestion. But seems like this two a bit hilly and too many staircase to climb.

Found some apartments in airbnb.com seems ok. Near to metro stations.

You mean 2d1n? I did a 2d1n trip to Busan last week. What I did was, left heavy luggage at Seoul (normally you can store your luggage at the accomodation if you're returning there after your Busan trip), travel light (backpack with very few stuffs), and as soon as I reach Busan (via KTX), I started visiting all the places based on my iternary starting from west to east (since busan station is more on the west side), then put up a night at Haeundae and then travel back to west side for the train the next day and along the way cover whatever you missed the day before. But if you are bringing along your heavy suitcases to Busan, then I would suggest somewhere nearer to the Busan station so you can drop off your luggage as soon as you reached.

In my opinion, 1 million won per person (not including flight and accomodation) is definitely enough unless you eat lavishly every meal and visit places that requires alot of money to travel to or has huge entrance fees. But you should be able to tell based on your iternary, do some searching in google for the entrance fees and do some estimation on meals and you will know if its enough.

Around January or February I guess. Ski resorts normally close on March. I did manage to ski on early March though but it's weather dependant actually.

If my memory doesn't fail me, Insadong Mall starts around 10am / 11am. I'm not sure what time you wish to set off to Busan but the trip will set you back about 2 hours and a half (at least) and you will arrive in Busan circa 3pm-5pm. IMHO Jagalchi Market is best appreciated in the morning although some other members may have differing opinions.
